NO SKILLS NEEDED SIMPLE FIX. COMES WITH INSTRUCTIONS
Great sensors I used one to replace a bad sensor on my Vivint security system. It took about 20 minutes and works great. Vivint charges 49.00 for a service call plus parts if the items not covered under warranty. With only home owner skills this is a great money saver for anyone.

Works well
Works great and easy to integrate once the NetworX panel is up and running. Anti-tamper feature and selectable mode are nice features. The transmitter is a bit larger than a wired sensor, but you can always install the transmitter on the door and magnet on the jamb since the unit is battery powered.

Great for monitoring sump pump outlet power.
I wired this sensor to a relay (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017743I7S). This is 2 wires! If you've wired your stereo speakers, you can wire this. I plugged the relay into the top outlet shared by my sump pump. When the power to the outlet drops, the sensor triggers a "door open" signal to my alarm system which sends a message to my phone telling me the power has dropped to my sump pump. The sensor (and relay) work great. I took 1 star off because it calls out using 22-gauge wire, but the terminal blocks can't clamp on wire that small. Needed to fold the wires back onto themselves a few times. I would suggest a heavier gauge if I were to do this again.

Internal reed switches OR terminal block, not both.
This sensor is larger than the standard door sensor, but it has a larger battery and the built in terminal block. I bought 2 of these to secure 2 sets of 2 windows in 2 different rooms. Since the windows are side-by-side I did not want to buy 2 wireless sensors per window-group, but instead buy just one per room and connect a wired sensor to the adjacent window in each room. My original idea was to use the internal reed switch for one window and an external wired sensor for the other. I found that this cannot be done! There is a jumper inside the unit. Jump pins 1-2 for the side reed switch, jump pins 2-3 for the top reed switch, and pull the jumper off altogether for the wiring block. I ended up pulling the jumper off, then wiring 2 external contacts in series to go to each window. A terminating resistor is needed for the external connection which was thankfully provided. Screws are also provided, but you will have to provide your own double-sided tape if you prefer mounting it that way.

Works and easy to install
Great product, Fast Prime Shipping, Works like a charm.Absolutely easy to program into my Simon XT and had it up and running in less than 5 minutes. Replaced an old sensor (several years old) that was experiencing some RF interference. Nice that it also has a hard wired connect block in case you need it to install in areas a long way from the main unit or are getting RF interference.Excellent sensor for the price.

Works fine for doors
It works with my Simon XT, but i was honestly surprised at how incredibly HUGE this thing is.The transmitter is the size of a grown man's thumb. Works fine for doors, but i wanted it for a window - ended up having to move another sensor to the window so i could put this on a door.

Good sensor!
We have a storage shed away from our home. There are some semi-valuables in there that we don't want to have stolen. After hearing from neighbors that some sheds were broken in to recently, we decided to put an alarm on it. This sensor is great: with our alarm system. And the signal can reach our main box which is over 30 yards away. Was easy to install, not too expensive, and gives us peace of mind that our place is safe, and if it isn't, we will know It does exactly what it needs to do.

Love it, works great!
Worked like a charm with my old GE Interlogix panel, replacing an older sensor that took a smaller, more expensive battery that was harder to find and rarely fresh. This one is the same size as the one it replaced, but uses an easy-to-find 123 A battery that will probably last 10 years! It even snapped right on the old sensors base--can't get much easier than that. No more low-battery nuisance alarms!
