Works great
I use this on xc90 radiators and it works great. It's a 1/4 Shank so you can get it in and out cleanlythe o ly downside is that it's plastic. I broke one after 2 years, but they're cheap so I still bought 2 more just in case.

Works but don't apply too much pressure
Suggestion --wrap the base with a tie wrap tightly to give it more turning strength.

Well worth purchasing.
This petcock socket worked flawlessly on my 1989 Corvette so I could drain out my coolant without damage to the radiator. Like many things about Corvette maintenance and repair is the limited space to reach things . This item made access easy .

Doesn't retain on 1/4 ratchet drive
Design does not allow for the plastic petcock socket to be retained on a 1/4 drive ratchet. It falls off easily ,which is a big hassle when maneuvering into a tight spot.Does NOT fit 2017 Ford Escape with 2.0 Liter Ecoboost engine! You will need an attachment with a slightly wider slot.

Plastic not metal
The tool does serve is intended purpose but I did think this was a metal tool. The plastic tends to bend and spread a bit when trying to dislodge difficult petcocks allowing the tool to slip off. If the petcock is not old and stuck, this tool works fine.

That it would work for my car.
Was the only way I could drain my radiator.

Did the trick
I was concerned that being plastic that it wouldn't be strong enough. It did just fine under a fair amount of pressure.
