Have a sticking issue. Comes loose and causes leakage problems.

Colostomy bags are bad enough, without them tearing loose and leaking. The best way to get a good, secure seal, is to use with the basic skin barrier both adhesive paste and wax ring: Hollister #79300 for the Adapt paste, and Hollister #7805 for the Adapt Barrier Ring. You pull repeatedly in a circular manner on the wax ring until it is big enough. Then apply the paste to the skin around your stoma, and after that press the ring on top of the paste around your stoma. Then press on the skin barrier with tape. I always apply additional soft cloth adhesive tape all the way around. This way your colostomy bag should last two or three days before it needs to be changed. If you were to ask if I bet my ass this works, I would have to say I don't have one any more, my surgeon sewed it up. It helps to maintain a good humor about this.

They stick very well. These things are expensive for only 10 in a box, and as far as thickness, I don’t think they’re thick at all and that’s a good thing. They hold up well. I order them to have some extra for when I am away from home or I just keep an emergency bag packed.
