Q: I would like to use this on my trainers. How long does a coating tend to last?

I have used it on trainers, if you are in excessive wet weather then I would respray them when they are dry. Other than that I am not sure how long it would last. It really is a great water proofer. I use it mostly on my dogs coats.

Yes it will protect it from the elements however you will need to keep the applying a protective layer

Q: Can i use this on my Nike Goretex trainers?

I have used it on my booties and works very well. As long as trainers have not been made with the mesh, they should be fine. I am very happy with this water proofer, I bought it for my dogs coats.
