Wonderful Book
Wonderful book, not as good as Happiness, but still a god read, better than most, that's all I have to say about that.

A healthy approach to a difficult topic.
It's surprising to me how complex and true to life Francois Lelord can delve into in terms of human emotion, while also keeping his main character very simple, naive and charming. It's difficult sometimes to read the things he says, cause they hit me so hard, but then, it's nice cause he gives me time to process and think about what he is saying and sometimes even ends with "Oh dear, love can be so complicated, can't it!" Because sometimes it is too complex to simply explain in one paragraph of one book. So I'm thankful he doesn't try and leaves it up to me the reader to figure it out instead.

Hector and the Secrets of Love
Scientific observation, acknowledgement of our imperfections as emotional beings, reflection, analysis & a mindful regard for all of the aspects of emotional and physical attachment with good-natured humor thrown in - Hector and the Secrets of Love is an enjoyable and engaging read with the potential to trigger self-reflection in the reader, perhaps teach us a few things about ourselves and/or serve for an entertaining read.

Not as good as Hector and the Search for Happiness
I loved Hector and the Search For Happiness, but this one has been really hard for me to get through. At some points it seems predictable, but then as the story unfolds the reader is left unsure. I'm not exactly sure if it is as long or longer than Hector and the Search for Happiness, but it definitely seems longer. I wanted to read all three books in this series, but I am not sure if I will be able to make it through the third. I would definitely recommend the first though!

Confusing and open ended
I read the trilogy out of order. The second book last and the third book second. I liked the third book best of all. Many good observations were made about what love was, however since the hero was allowed two loves in the book one is left with a sense of disappointment. Overall a good story, but the conflicts are not directly reconciled, yet seem to be so by the third book.

Good follow-up to Hector and Search for Happiness
Not as good as the first book but still a good read for those interested in the components that make up love but in a fictional take.

Fun
A fun read. I liked "Hector and the Search for Happiness" more than this one, but it's still a good story.

Great series
I liked this second installment of Hector's adventures just as much as the first. I can't pick a favorite yet. The simple, fable style writing really is a great way to explore complex emotions. On top of that, it was a fun story with a lot of surprises.
