Takeya 885395512419 Actives Insulated Stainless Steel Bottle, Straw Lid Blush 32oz

I'll write this review in comparison to Hydroflask since they're direct competitors. I would say this is essentially the same quality compared to the Hydroflask but with slightly weaker durability. I have owned both, and my Hydroflask got dropped more times with less dents compared to my Takeya. However, since the Takeya comes with a soft rubber cover on the bottom, that makes up for some of it. The lid is also superior to Hydroflask- both the spout and the straw lid.It keeps liquids and ice cool for basically an entire 24 hours, I didn't notice a major difference between this and Hydroflask. I can usually get two or three rounds of refills with one set of ice. There's a slight issue with the rubber cover in that it is a little too grippy. I have a cup-holder extension to fit 32oz bottles in my car, and it makes it too grippy to remove, but that's a bit of a niche issue.The rubber cover is really convenient basically everywhere. You can put it on top of your car since it's rubber and won't scratch, and when you place it on a surface it won't slide and makes minimal noise. If you drop it, it also makes much less noise and protects it from denting. It's a huge quality of life improvement.The straw lid goes bad after a couple years with a leaky noise issue, but then again I didn't take care of mine that well and that's like a $10 replacement.Overall, I see no real reason to pay more for a Hydroflask unless you want to flex brand name or have the money to blow. You get the same for less with this.

Since purchasing my first one a few years back, this has become the standard bottle for the household. Nice part about these is you can get replacement parts; the straw and rubber rings, which do wear down over time if you are taking them out to clean, can all be purchased separately. Keeps liquid cold over the course of a work day in a very hot environment.

it is easy to carry around, keeps my water cold, and it does not leak at all. even when the straw is open, no water leaked out when i held the bottle upside down. very good product and I absolutely love the color

Love this. It doesn’t fit in the couple holder but after a couple months I’m quite content. As a hydroflask dupe it’s perfect. It doesn’t leak if you close the straw spout well. It’s easy to clean with warm soapy water in the sink. Keeps water cool for 12+ with visible ice still there. I like that I don’t have to tip it up to drink and I don’t use the sleeve on the bottom but I haven’t had any trouble with denting or anything.

This water bottle is incredible. I was looking for a bottle that was very quiet, had a straw, didn’t get wet with condensation, and had a quiet straw. After searching and searching, I found this one and it is perfect. The straw doesn’t have that annoying squeak, the stainless steel isn’t loud and obnoxious, the silicone on the bottom keeps it quiet when I set it down, and it definitely keeps my water cold. I can easily open the straw with one hand and the quality is a solid 10/10. The carrying ring on the lid also makes it easy to carry. Overall, I recommend this bottle!

Pros:- Such a pretty pink colour, I've been looking for a water bottle this colour for the LONGEST time.- Silicone boot for the 32oz is really nice, it helps prevent the bottle from slipping around on slick or wet surfaces.- Handle is ergonomic and easy to grab. No weird issues of missing the handle when trying to grab it cause it's too small.- Rubber grip along the bottle makes it easier to open the water bottle.- TLDR pretty ergonomic and makes having a giant water bottle easy to deal with.- Pretty easy disassembly, no issues with mold so far and I've had this since March of 2020.- Heavy when filled up with water but a perfect swinging weapon for any creeps trying to get on you.Cons:- Water somehow leeches through the top of the water bottle where the water plug is (near the handle aka the grey dot). I'm assuming this is because I've sipped water and the pressure has forced it through the little hole or the mouth spout.- If you've filled it to the top of the neck, sometimes the water will still spill from the bottle. Simple solution is to just not overfill the bottle or tighten the crap out of the water bottle. lol- Sometimes the silicone boot will come off, but it's pretty stuck on unless you give it a wash every now and then. Just make sure to dry it properly so it won't fall off.- Can get pretty heavy if you've filled up the bottle all the way (32oz+) but that's bound to happen when getting a water bottle this big.- Doesn't fit my car cup holder, so it usually sits in my passenger seat. If you have giant cup holders in your vehicle I wouldn't see this as a con.- Sometimes I have to push the mouth spout down towards me because it won't suction the water up properly. It can get kind of annoying.Overall rating: 4.0/5.0 stars.Some things could be improved upon (I may just be a little bit picky) but overall the water bottle is great. Would definitely get this bottle for family or friends. A friend actually recommended this brand to me cause of how pretty the pink is. It's pretty much the same exact colour seen in the thumbnail "millennial pink". Get this bottle if you're looking for something easy to maintain and in a pretty colour!

This is my absolute FAVORITE water bottle. I have yetis and hydroflasks but they pale in comparison to this one. My water stays ice cold all day. The straw spout is so convenient and doesn’t leak. It rolls around full in my car while I’m driving, since it won’t fit in my cup holder… and it never leaks even a drop. My kids love it too, and want their own. It has actually encouraged me to drink more water. 32 oz is perfect size, I don’t feel like I’m having to fill it up a million times a day yet it’s not so big that I feel like I’m lugging around a jug. The design is slick and pretty, and the color is so neutral and appealing. I get compliments on it all the time. For half the price of other water bottle manufacturers, this bottle is a steal. Stop perusing reviews and just buy it already!
