Intex Pillow Rest Classic Airbed with Built-in Pillow and Electric Pump, Queen

I am considerably larger than my wife, so when we both laid down to sleep on this mattress, it was not the most effective. We took it camping and laid the mattress down on the floor of the tent (which we had to set up on a crushed gravel patch due to weather conditions). The mattress inflated easily enough, and was really pretty convenient. My wife laid down on it and found it to be pretty comfortable. I decided to try it out, too, but got jabbed by a sharp piece of the gravel as I was making my way back to the mattress. That caused me to jump a little bit and lose my balance. Luckily for me, the mattress was directly in the path of where I was falling. Unfortunately for my wife, she was still laying on that mattress.Have you ever seen those videos of people jumping on large, inflatable pillows on the water, and it sends the smaller person flying into the air?Yeah. Imagine that. But in a tent. That has been pitched on gravel.My wife was not very happy with me for the rest of the weekend. When we did settle in for the night, I was much more careful with my approach to the mattress and eased myself onto it. The weight disparity didn't make sleeping very comfortable for either of us. Even though I was on the mattress, I sunk deeply enough into it to still feel the rocks poking me in the back, while my wife's side of the mattress looked like an engorged tick with her perched on top of it. Any time either of us moved in the night, we woke the other one up because the whole mattress rose and fell and shook whenever we tried to get comfortable. Honestly, I would have preferred to sleep on the picnic table, if it weren't for the rain.My suggestion is that instead of investing in the Queen air bed, at least for camping, get two of the Twin sized beds instead.

The pillow is very uncomfortable. Was hoping it would suffice and not require bringing pillows, but definitely uncomfortable

We read all the reviews and decided on this airbed. I needed it fast as I was having more company for the weekend than I thought. We have had airbeds in the past and they were always a pain. I hoped this one would be better. I also needed it to fit in the living room and fit two people. It arrived on time and packaged well. The price was also the right . The instructions were easy to read and really no assembly was required. It filled up in just a few minutes. I did feel like it was hard to tell how full it was. So I thought it was full enough and I made the bed with the sheets and pillows. My relatives slept on it and said that it started to lose air by the early morning. So after, they left I tested it to see if I should have put more air in it. I should have I think. Maybe then it would not have lost air. I have not used it since then, so I can not say this was the problem for sure. It was hard to get back in the bag for storage. Otherwise, it is a lot better than what we have had in the past.

I received my Intex pillow at a perfect time. We did buy this mattress for our camper since we do a lot of camping but last night we had a sleep over and it came in handy. It is a classic airbed. I feel like this is priced just right. I did not have to spend too much money on it. The mattress comes with a built in pillow and its soft. It also has an electric pump and it fills up quick. I had 3 girls (11 year olds) sleep on it and there were no complaints on their end and they had a comfortable nights sleep, I should say morning sleep. After the girls went home my husband and I took a nap on it to test it out. It passed inspection and it also felt comfortable. It was also easy to deflate and easy to store. It does come with a duffle bag for storage. I cant wait to use this in my camper for those extra people who come with us. Like this mattress and all other air mattresses, use with caution. Don't be rough on it or put anything sharp on it. I think no matter how much you pay for an air mattress, if you are not careful with them they will puncture. I think the quality is good and its made really nice.

I rate this 3 stars because I've only been using it for 2 days so I'm not sure of the longevity. I read a few reviews that said it had a slow leak, but the instructions say that it takes a few uses to "stretch", making it seem like it has a leak. I've woken up both nights almost touching the floor but attributed it to the "stretching". However after coming home from work today it was deflated even more than when I got up this morning, leading me to believe it is a true leak, but I will test for a few more nights before I return it.On the positive side, the built in pump makes it super easy and quick to inflate. I would prefer battery to electric as it isn't always convenient to drag it over to an outlet when it starts to deflate. A little noisy but not terrible. And I actually like the raised pillow side because it helps to keep your real pillow from sliding off the edge. It is of average comfort for a cheap mattress, which I expected.I will post an update once I figure out if the mattress has a leak. Of not, it is definitely worth the $, though if I could go back I would invest a little more for a better quality mattress that perhaps had an attached battery pump.

Re: INTEX 12 inch AirMatress....I probably would have bought a Sleep Number Bed, but can't afford it. This is the perfect bed in my opinion and I recommend it to everyone who has back problems. I bought this 12 inch INTEX 6 years ago and put in on a platform bed. It's the best bed I ever slept on. I used it every night for six years before one of the innner compartments failed. I am rather heavy too. I couldn't find another in the stores here, so I bought a 9 inch COLEMAN at Walmart. Wasn't the same and I started getting a backache from the change of the mattress. I then found a 9 inch INTEX. That isn't as nice as the 12 inch, but much better than the COLEMAN. I now ordered the 12 inch INTEX and wish I had saved myself the money and aggrevation of trying something else. LOVE this bed and if I get 6 years out of this mattress for 40 some dollars, I am well ahead and well pleased. I used to turn a lot in my bed and now can fall asleep on my back (I am a side sleeper) and wake up hours later refreshed and still in the position I fell asleep in. It's just wonderful.

Compramos este colchón para usar cuando vienen visitas. Por lo que nuestro uso era esporádico. ¡¡¡Gran error!!!En las instrucciones menciona que los primeros días es posible que parezca que se desinfla pero es porque el plástico del colchón se está estirando. Entonces decidimos usarlo algunos días para ver alguna película y efectivamente en menos de dos horas el colchón se comenzaba a desinflar. No nos preocupamos porque ya lo advertían las instrucciones, y lo guardamos por algunos meses.Sin embargo, meses más adelante, al usarlo por noches enteras, notamos que se seguía desinflando, entonces me di a la tarea de buscar fugas, y encontré una pequeña fuga de aire en una costura cerca de una esquina, la cual tardé en sellar con el material que viene incluido en el paquete. Y con esto el colchón duró un poco más tiempo inflado... pero dejamos de usarlo unos meses más.Cuando volvimos a usarlo el colchón continuaba desinflándose pero para entonces, ya había pasado el tiempo de garantía del producto. Mi sugerencia es no comprar este colchón. Pero si lo compras, asegurate de usarlo continuamente por varios días y si encuentras que se sigue desinflando regresalo inmediatamente.

En la descripcion comenta que soporta hasta 237 kg eso es falso, la segunda ves que los utilizamos dormidos 2 personas que en total de peso es de180 kg y al despetar el colchon estaba por completo desinflado, cabe mencionar que tengo la costumbre de poner una sabana gruesa debajo del colchon para protegerlo.Lo utilizamos de nuevo en otras ocaciones y ya no mantenia el aire y aun asi con un peso menos a 100 kg asi que recomiendo comprar uno de mejor calidad si tu idea es usarlo constantemente.

It's slightly better than sleeping directly on the floor. A foam mattress would be better. Not enough support for given areas. Perhaps it's ok for young people. And it's definitely NOT durable. It didn't last 6 months before it started to leak. The patch kit included didn't work... the hole was on a seam. The built in inflater worked well.

Used it 2 times for camping (filled at car using power inverter). First time it worked great. Needed a little re-filling after the first night. Second time, I woke up half way through the night with by back against the ground (it had almost deflated completely). I brought it home and search for leaks, but couldn't find any. I then realized the air was leaking from the "fast fill" valve where the pump is. When I leave the pump on too long, after turning it off, the air continuously escapes from the valve until I rotate into the deflate, then back to the inflate position. Bed is essentially useless after 2 uses.

Excelente producto, se infla muy rápidamente con el motor eléctrico incluido. El desinflado también es muy rápido, se puede doblar y guardar fácilmente en la bolsa de tela en la que viene. Viene cubierta la parte superior con tela de muy buen sentir al tacto, tiene muy buena resistencia ya que no es tan delgado como otras marcas y al momento de estar bien inflado es bastante firme. Al principio huele mucho a plástico pero después de un día de estar inflado el olor empieza a desvanecerse. Después de un día de estar inflado es necesario inflarlo mas, ya que según el manual el plástico se expande.Es un excelente colchón para en caso de visitas inesperadas o para un día de campo, sin duda alguna se los recomiendo.
