1. I purchased this product primarily because my old hose nozzles leaded at the head and at the hose connector. This product doesn't leak where the head connects to the hose or at the connection used to select the spray pattern but some water still comes from the cone connected to the pattern selector. I viewed this as a minor issue now.2. The thumb water volume control is excellent for me (I can change the volume with my thumb with some pressure) but is not sized for my wife either in hand grip or in amount of pressure needed to change the water volume. My wife has to use two hands to use this feature. Hopefully after some use it will slide easier. 3. There was a quick change connector (I think) sent with the hose nozzle. I assume it is in case I have a hose that allows such a feature. With no instructions about this piece, I spent some time trying to figure out what it was and how I was supposed to use it. I guess I am to buy a hose that allows such a connection???

After a month of everyday use, I can finally give a review. Pros: Easy to grip, the thumb is very easy to use. Cons: This hose nozzle is designed for homes with high water pressure. Since my home is low water pressure, not all the spray settings on this nozzle worked well. The "SHOWER" setting is not the best, the top of the "SHOWER" cone was more like a stream of water than a shower. The "FULL" and "SOAKER" setting are pretty much the same and not sure what it would be used for, since in either one the water doesn't even spray very far (probably due to the fact that my house is low water pressure). All the other settings does what it was meant to do. Also a note to the seller, the pic for "ANGLED" and "CONE" are reversed.

Unless you’re a gardener, it’s probably not easy to get excited about a hose nozzle, but this is a really well made product! No drips or leaks and the flow rate is very easily adjusted with the thumb lever that is smooth and easy to operate. It feels heavy and durable, though this is my first season with it. For gardeners who need an adjustable flow rate as well as different spray patterns, I don’t think you’ll find a better product out there. I finally got sick of buying a new cheap nozzle every year and decided to try a higher quality, if more expensive model and I am extremely pleased with my purchase.

I love everything about this nozzle but one thing...when using the shower mode (which is what we use most often), there is one jet that shoots harder and farther than the other jets--on both nozzles I purchased. So when I'm aiming at a plant, I can't focus all the water on one area. I have a lot of overspray or underspray, which is challenging because we live in an area with water use restrictions, so we're very specific and purposeful when hand watering. Otherwise, this nozzle is built well, sits comfortably in the hand, and is easy to use.

Not a bad sprayer, but the thumb control is a pain in the ass to operate compared to a trigger type sprayer. Takes two hands to operate, unless you have Andre The Giant strength thumbs.Wouldn't buy again.

Couldn’t be happier. It’s heavy duty and not chintzy at all. Has great water pressure for watering the lawn with “flat” and lighter pressure for watering the garden with “shower.” I really haven’t used any of the other ones, but I bet “mist” will be nice when we have a heat wave.My only gripe is that the on/off switch seems to go the wrong direction. It should be like a light switch where up is on and down is off, but on this nozzle, up is off, which doesn’t feel natural when the nozzle is slippery and I’m trying to push my thumb up to turn off the hose as it’s spewing water everywhere. That’s all though. Not a big enough issue for me to return it!

I like this Hose Nozzle and if it were a but sturdier I would love it and give it 5 stars. But it is not. Lots of plastic . I don't think it will hold up to a full season of hard use but if I am wrong I will come back and amend this review.

I am really bad at taking care of hoses and their attachments. I researched nozzles that would let me water my plants and shoot a stream. I have never had a thumb controlled trigger. I really like it. It is so less fatiguing as you do not have to constantly hold its position. Kind of set it and forget it (Ronco!). I liked it so much, I ordered a second for the back yard hose. One thing I plan on doing is taking it in for the winter. That has been the demise of all previous nozzles. Bursting from freezing. As these are on the pricey side, I hope to have them last for years. :-)
