Great way to wean a baby from a swaddle
Ever since my baby started to show signs of rolling I started to grow concerned. The reason why is because my baby sleeps so soundly swaddled and yes i don't want my baby to roll over on her face and suffocate, but i really was scared that i wouldn't be able to get sleep anymore because she is used to being swaddled. Yes sounds selfish but that's the first thing that came to mind. So i started swaddling her with her hands free... and it was a nightmare. She kept scratching her face, rubbing her eyes, and bopping her head with her hands (yes it's not her fault, it's common for babies to do this, they can't help it) and these involuntary movements kept waking her up when she was about to fall asleep. This was quite frustrating. So i read these parenting forums online and lots of parents sugfested the zipadee. I said "hell why not, i will give it a try". Once she was in it she couldn't scratch herself and her eye rubbing wasn't as irritating to her thanks to the triangular sleeves. Long story short she has slept pretty well, not as good as swaddled arms sleep but leagues better than free arm swaddling. All i can say is that this was a good buy for me, it may work for you and if it doesn't it's still a usable wearable blanket for a cold day and i wish you luck with weaning your babe from swaddling.

Daily Essential and replacement for swaddle!
My daughter loved the swaddle but she is very strong and wiggly so we couldn't leave her in it for safety reasons. she slept terribly without it, so I asked around and discovered these! She loves them! she is cozy at night, and as a bonus it keeps her from climbing out of the crib lol! She sleeps much better than my first born who did not have a transitional sleep sack. I recommend getting two also, they get drooly with the teething and its nice to always have a clean one on deck. I highly recommend!

Daughter likes it
Bought for my 4 month old daughter to transition her out of the blanket swaddle. Have used it for a few weeks now and she seems to like it, was nervous about the transition but she didn’t seem to have a hard time with it and sleeps like she did before. I think she likes being able to access her hands to self soothe although sometimes it does leave her sleeves all wet, to be expected with babies I guess. 4 stars because as other reviews say the material does seem to pill quickly, I bought 2 and both are pilling around the hand and neck area.

Love Our Zippys!
My first baby wore zippys all the way until 2.5 when he got his toddler bed before transitioning to flying squirrel Jammie’s (made by the same company). They’re great for little buddies that can roll, but aren’t quite ready to be unswaddled yet. They also help keep your adventurous toddler from climbing out of the crib. I’d suggest going right to the small if you have an average sized baby, as the x small size is when most babies are still swaddled. Go by length instead of weight when you try to figure out your baby’s size. They’ll be long, just like they’re supposed to be!

It works!
My 3 month old was very reliant on his velcro swaddle and he couldn't tolerate a regular sleep sack. I recommend trying this during the day first bc it took a moment for him to get used to it! After one night of a little bit of fussing he can settle himself in this now, I can also nurse him while he's still wearing it which is amazing. Definitely recommend

Using it for my second child now
I bought this a couple of years ago for my daughter and now I’m using it for my son. It’s a great way to keep them a little more comfortable and partially restrict their movement without being a full swaddle

My 2 month old sleeps 6 straight hours in this!!
I have been a BIG fan of zippadee since I had my son in 2020. It is the perfect transition sleeper going from the swaddle to nothing. My daughter absolutely loves it!! She’s a girl after my own heart and loves her sleep. I can’t believe since the first night I put her on it she’s almost sleeping through the night!! The zippadee is extremely soft, washed well and has great stretch! I use their sizing chart and that worked perfect for both my children! Highly recommend!

Fits great with room to grow.
The medium fits my 18lb 4m old girl well and she has plenty of room to grow without it being way too baggy. She's comfortable in it and is sleeping through the night

Love this!
My baby had issues transitioning from a swaddle, but he absolutely LOVES these sleep sacks. The material is amazing, it keeps him cozy. I also love that he’s able to still use his arms while rolling around.

Transition from Swaddle
We used zipadee after trying a hundred products to transition our child from swaddle. And it works!! My boy likes to be swaddled (loves the tight womb feel) and transitioning was totally a hard hit on us. But zipadee was a game changer. First few nights were rough but he adjusted well to it. It does control his Moro reflexes as well to some point. The only backdraw is that sometimes the sack gets shaped in a way that it blocks his nose. And we have to constantly put it down to avoid SIDS syndrome. Otherwise it's perfect.

Perfect!
Love this transitional swaddle. It’s the second one we’ve bought as baby grew out of the first one at 9 months. He hates sleeping in anything else. Love that you can dress baby in warm or cooler clothing underneath as needed.

This Saved Us
Our little was born during winter so preferred to be bundled and fell use to having hands covered. Spent alot trying to find the perfect sleep sack for summer. Baby fell asleep with the first try and we’ve repurchased in the next size.*we only wish they made thicker versions for winter

Baby hates it
I had high hopes for this product to help with the transition out of the swaddle. Baby falls asleep fine but wakes up thrashing his legs and crying. He gets his arms pulled to the middle and angry about it. He can’t straighten out his arms unless they are at his side. The zipper is too long and allows for fabric to gather at the face.
