The 2nd Big Big Book of Tashi (Tashi series)

My son loves the Tashi series. The first collection is stronger, in my opinion, but for a little boy eager for more Tashi, it hit the spot. I probably should give the book five stars, because my son does love them, but it's not as fun for me as the first collection and when my son and his friends talk Tashi, they usually reference stories from the first book.That said, this is a great beginning chapter book for boys, girls and parents.

My granddaughter loves, I mean loves!!!! This series. We read selections from both the first and 2nd edition over skype as she lives in the UK. The stories are imaginative, thought provoking and an absolute joy to read for both young and old.

If you have read the 1st Big Big Book, this one isn't as good. But if you have read the first book, you'll be craving more so you might as well get it. The adventures are still creative and my seven year old son enjoyed it.

This has been the perfect transition from a long love affair with picture books to chapter books. It's great for my 7-year-old boy. The text is enough of a challenge for him, without being too much of one. We alternate pages to keep the story moving, to make it more about fun that straight learning. And like the best picture books, Tashi is great fun for adults, too. I can't believe this series isn't more widespread.

My son's name is Tashi, and stumbled on these books after he was born.. It's super neat, and he has lots of fun reading about the adventures of this little guy!

My daughter enjoys this series and this is the last major compilation. Outside of Big Big Book of Tashi and 2nd Big Big Book of Tashi, there are three stories.

My boys and I love Tashi! I first read all the Tashi stories to my sons when they were about 6 and 8. Now at 8 and 10, they have read these stories over and over. We've loaned the books to many friends and everyone loves Tashi! We even got the school library to purchase Tashi books. They are great adventure stories.

This is a wonderful book filled with adventure, daring-do, and close escapes. Both my 4 yr. old son and 6.5 yr old daughter enjoy hearing about Tashi's latest escapades. The beautifully drawn pencil illustrations on each page are filled with details to keep my 4 yr old. engaged while my 6 yr. old becomes acquainted with new vocabulary words. Each story is its own chapter - we usually read a couple before bed. The stories have an element of suspense that often sends my 4 yr. old under the covers, but clever Tashi always comes out on top!

Hola, el libro es tan bueno como el primero, aunque en este, a mis hijos, por estar en inglés, les cuesta más. Desde pequeño van a un colegio inglés, pero con 5 años, aun hay mucho vocabulario por aprender.
