Works well
This definitely helps warm the pool. Not as heavy as others but is good for the price

Get your money's worth out of your pool with this cover!
This pool cover is the best one i have had yet. It fits my pool (18ft) perfect and heats the water extremely well. I've had covers that heated my pool before but they only heated the top 6 inches or so. This cover heats the water to 90F on really hot days and it heats it all the way to the bottom! Even on a cooler day it heats the water to the point that i can finally use my pool without shivering. I went from only using my pool on the hottest of days to wanting to get into the pool all the time. My only negative is that the cover is pretty brittle and may only last a season or two. Even knowing that fact i will not hesitate to purchase again. It makes my pool usable so much more that it is worth the expense of replacing it frequently.

small but mighty
This was not quiet big enough for our pool but it certainly was helpful in heating up our pool would recommend it was easy to put on and take off and easy to fold up and store when not in use it did take two of us but it was great quality and did its job no issues with the wind taking it off or anything like that

Super easy for one person to use! Warms water well.
I purchased this solar cover for use on an Intex 15' round metal-frame pool. I had tried to cover the pool with the cover that comes with the pool. But I was unable to get it to stay on, even with two people working at it. The cover that comes with the pool is supposed to fit over the frame and it has a drawstring to hold it in place. It is very heavy and can get filled with water and sink. I was unable to get it on the pool by myself - as I would get one side in place, the opposite side would slide into the water and sink. Also, the water coming out of the filter pushed it around, making it even harder to work with. But even with the filter turned off and the help of a second person, we were unable to get the cover on. This solar cover, in comparison, is so easy to use! It is very lightweight (it's essentially a big sheet of heavy-duty bubble wrap). It floats on the water surface. I can easily put it on and take it off by myself. It is sized to fit with a little extra, so even if there are air bubbles trapped under the cover, it still covers the entire water surface. The water coming out of the filter doesn't move it at all. Any leaves or debris that fall into the pool lay on top and as I pull the cover off they come off with it (where I can remove them) and don't fall into the water. Updating my review: I have used the solar cover for one week. Prior to putting the cover on, the pool water temperature was previously around 71-72 degrees on sunny days when the air temperature ranged between highs in the upper 80s / low 90s and lows in the 70s. In the week that the cover has been on, the air temperature only reached highs around 80 and dropped into the low 60s at night yet the water temp went up to 76 degrees. That's a 4 degree gain in water temperature even though air temperatures had dropped by 10 degrees, and the water temperatures were within about 5 degrees of the high air temps. I am very pleased. 2 notes: 1. The instructions say that you need to remove it if there are going to be high winds, because it can blow off of the pool. 2. It's not a safety or tear-away cover, so it could potentially cause entrapment and drowning if anyone fell onto it. I remove the ladder and place it away from the pool when this cover is in place.

Turns my pool into a hot tub!
I’ve only used it for a few weeks so I can’t speak to durability but honestly I’m not expecting this to last for years and years like other reviewers seem to expect. But boy does this thing WORK. I left it on all day during a 101 degree day and at 9pm the top layer of the water was 101 degrees as well! It seriously felt like a jacuzzi getting in. After swimming in it and mixing the water up the final temperature at 9:30pm was 86 degrees which was so comfortable and incredible considering the sun had set and I could still enjoy my pool. As soon as this starts to show signs of deterioration I’ll will take it off and buy a new one instead of leaving it to clog my pool filter with little blue bubbles. If it lasts the whole summer I will be satisfied with it. If it starts breaking down before the season is over then yes I will dock stars but otherwise I know the quality of this won’t last forever and if it stays at 49$ then I’m okay with buying a new one each year. If it goes back to its regular price of 99$ then I won’t be happy with buying one each year. As far as taking it on and off, I bought the 15ft one and decided to use a cheap tension rod (like for closets) and place it on top on the cover while it’s in the pool and use the rod to help roll up the cover instead of fighting to fold it. Then when I want to put it back on I just do the opposite and start unrolling it over the water. This makes it easy to get it off and on completely by myself within a couple minutes. I’ve seen some cool homemade contraptions with PVC pipes, ropes, and a hand crank that sit permanently at the edge of the pool where you can roll up this cover even more easily and I may consider making one myself. I will update this review at the end of summer stating how long this cover lasted or if it is still in good shape.

After reading some reviews about this I had reservations. No need, it's perfect. I have this fitted to a 12ft pool but NOT the one with the inflatable ring. Mine is the metal framed pool & it fits perfectly. I also have a heater. This won't work miracles but if the sun is out for a period of time, this really will help get the water temperature up. When not in use, I also put the pool cover over the top of this one.

El anunciado es un producto marca INTEX y el recibido es un genérico, marca Steinbach, que no tiene los agujeros para el drenaje del agua llovida, las caracteristicas del plástico son similares, ya veremos su durabilidad al sol.
