Stem & Steam Next-Gen Program is an excellent tool for teaching science in the classroom
Stem & Steam Next-Gen Program is an excellent tool for teaching science in the classroom. Sumita Mukherjee lays out clear and education experiments to not only teach a science lesson, but also to teach young minds the different fields in science.Growing up, I never really understood engineers and what they can do. There are so many different types of engineers. This activity book instructs teachers how to educate their students about Marine Biologists, Mechanical Engineers, and even Acoustical Engineers. There are so many different fields available to learn about. This tool can open a child’s mind to new career paths they may never have thought about before. This book is full of colorful illustrations, clear and concise instructions, and lessons to take away from the experiments and activities. This text is very flexible and can be incorporated into a classroom setting, a homeschool environment, or a summer activity that parents and children can do together.

Can do better - don’t fall for the title
I found the book to be inadequate and there are better resources out there. Do your research before considering this book.

Great book to teach children about various engineering careers through practical examples!
I was offered a digital copy of “STEM & STEAM Next-Gen Program “ book in exchange of my honest review. To my surprise this book is quite different than the other STEM books available in the market. The best part of the book is that Author Sumita Mukherjee @wizkidsclub has mentioned clear and simple experiments to not only teach a science lesson, but also to teach young minds the different fields in science and engineering. This book is a great way to introduce different career paths to students and how they can solve the real life problems through an engineering process. This activity book instructs teachers/parents how to educate their students/children about many engineering and science career like Marine Biologists, Mechanical Engineers, and even NASA Scientist. This book can open a child’s mind to new career paths. This book is full of colorful illustrations, detailed material list and lessons plans with worksheets and graph paper etc everything you need as an educator to teach your students. This book can be used into a classroom setting, a homeschool environment, or a summer activity that parents and children can do together. My children enjoyed throughly the activities and got inspired by the various important roles the engineers play in the society. I would highly recommend this book for children in K-5th grade.

Good resource for STEM teachers
I am an elementary school STEM teacher and I found this book to be quite useful. I was sent a copy of the book as a gift. The book is set up with projects that teach students about different kinds of engineers and the kinds of jobs that they do. It includes a lot of easy to implement projects with little preparation needed. Each project is clearly laid out with learning objectives, and the materials needed for each project. The book clearly follows the engineering design process which is a big part of the Next Generation Science Standards. Project extensions and worksheets are also included in some of the lessons. The only thing I would have liked to see is a bit more of the science behind the lessons explained in a way that would be easily relatable to kids.

To Dream!
This short book is covered with so many science projects for the 1st to 5th grade levels in school.. Dreams that can come true for the kiddos that will be doing big things. How about being a NASA Scientist or a Toy Designer? This book helps to open the minds of our children and encourage them to be what they want to be.
