THESE ARE NOT UGGS, BUT BEARPAWS!
There's are BearPaws! They are just as awesome. They are just as aesthetic. They are much cheaper. Alongside Prime shipping, these were an easy decision, the hard part was picking out a size due to the mixed reviews. I'm sure had there have been a problem, amazon would have gladly exchanged the item! I'll admit the first time I took them out of the box, they looked shorter than all my other shoes, and my toe does touch the tip of the shoe. I will reconsider this review possibly in the future, seeing as many have stated they do fit as expected after a certain period of breaking in. When I slipped them on my feet, they felt very snug, warm and just how you'd expect walking on clouds to feel. Eventually that material will deteriorate over time. Although that is to be expected which such products. They looked amazing right out of the box, not too much. Plain, simple, yet very appealing. I didn't feel like shelling out close to 3x the price, just for a pair of uggs (college student), and have not regret my purchase. I've included a couple of images along side my review, as to show a comparison of what they look like to a pair of H&M brand casual shoes. You'll see a slight length difference, but that could be due to the roundness of the boot itself. The bottom of the boot appears to be nice and sturdy, hoping it'll hold up for 2 winters and even spring if used a moderate amount of times. Last Words: If you really want to be on the safe side, I'd order a size bigger for the time being, and I will retract this if the shoes break in over time and it's no longer an issue where my toes poke slightly at the tip of the boot when walking. When sitting, they are perfect, discomfort what so ever. Side Note: I added filters onto the images only to bring out the true color of the shoes, as I'm using my phone as the camera source. In my opinion the two images which best justify what they appear as in person is the one which the tags show, and the other showing both the left and right shoe in one shot. - PvN

They wonโt fit at first but the sizing is FINE
A LOT of people are complaining about the sizing but I honestly think none of them have ever bought fuzzy slippers before. I got these today and they hurt my toes when I first put them on. But after HALF A DAY of wearing them they already feel a million times better. All slippers like this need to be broken in. These ones will be loose within three days Iโm sure of it. Great quality. Basically youโre getting Uggs for a fraction of the price. Just know that there gonna be real tight for the first couple days. UPDATE: itโs three days later and the toe pain is GONE. They fit perfectly. Not too loose not too tight. Just wanted to follow up and confirm that on the first day they hurt my feet and by the morning of day 3 they are now some of the most comfortable slipper boots Iโve owned.

Comfy and handsome
I bought these for my husband for Christmas because his old BP's were worn out after many years of use. He was as excited as he can demonstrate, being a man of few words, but he loves them and puts them on every day when he gets home. They could technically be worn outdoors, but we live in a wet, snowy mountain town so we generally have indoor and outdoor footwear. They're great to run out and take the garbage, or walk to the market if necessary, but they're warm, cozy and handsome, like my guy. Good fit, nice footbed, and reliably sturdy.

Great boots, great price but THEY RUN SMALL.
Yes, I must agree with all the other reviewers who say : ORDER A SIZE UP! I usually wear a men's 9.5-10 and the size 11 boots are a perfect fit. They're warm and comfortable, and the tread is a big improvement over certain other pricey brands which have a nearly smooth sole on their shearling boots. The prices do vary a LOT so put them in your cart and watch for a while. At the moment the size 10 brown boot is priced at 21.61 while the size 12 is nearly FOUR times as much at 79.98 for the same boots.

Need to Know Before Buying
I was a little bit worried about sizing when I read the conflicting reviews. With a little preparation, I bought the right size. (Amazon's free returns makes for easy exchange, though.) I typically wear men's 8-9 (usually 8.5) and 9 is the right fit for me in these boots. Before buying sheepskin products, you need to know a few things about them. First, a lot of people wear them without socks. You don't have to do this, but know that the sizing may not include room for socks, so you'll need to add that when figuring out your size. Next, know that all sheepskin shoes/boots/slippers are snug in the beginning when properly fitted. The lining conforms to your foot over time. If you do buy a boot that starts out being as loose as a typical boot, it will be too big after a little wear. When deciding whether a sheepskin boot fits or not, pay attention to where your foot is in relation to the structure of the boot, knowing that the lining itself WILL wear down some. Last, despite that a lot of people wear sheepskin boots in the middle of the winter, they are really not ideal for those conditions. If you are going to wear them in wet conditions, treat the leather first so that it repels water and stains. Now, in terms of sizing, my recommendation is that you go to Bearpaw's website and use their sizing instructions to find the correct size. This will give you the best chance of getting the correct size on the first try. If you plan on wearing socks with your boots, consider measuring your foot with the socks. I am very happy with this boot and am looking forward to breaking it in when the cooler weather begins. I will update this review if there's anything worthy of noting as they get broken in and put through the test of a midwest winter. Update: I've had these for a while now and I love them! I treated them with a protective spray and as you can see, it has kept them looking great. I never thought I would be able to comfortably wear boots without socks, but I rarely wear these with socks. In fact, they keep my feet warm without socks in weather that has always before left me miserable due to cold feet. I'm adding some pictures of the boots after I have used them for a few months. I do take good care of my belongings, but this should give you a general idea of what they look like.

First look is good quality
At first look the quality appears to be good. The outer material is uniform in color and texture with no scrapes or defects. The inner lambs wool is thick and is included along the bottom. The sole material is sturdy with thick tread. They flex easily enough when walking. There is little instep support if any. The size appears to be one size smaller than standard U.S. sizes. Others have said the boot will stretch after wear. I will have to wear them longer to see if that is true. I was able to get them on wearing thick socks and they are not uncomfortable.

They'd be great if the sizing wasn't so off
Much, much too small for the size, an inch shorter than other size 12 shoes, boots and slippers I own. The difference in actual length is quite obvious when you hold them up to other size 12s. Normally I wear a size 11.5 to 12, but these fit like an 11, tops. It's frustrating because I can't return them as there aren't size 13s (which would ordinarily be gigantic on me but in this case would probably fit fine) currently available in the same color on amazon. And there aren't other black suede/ shearling Ugg-like boots on the market with the slightly manlier sole design I liked about these to begin with. I could actually have worn these out of the house without feeling like a tool, since they don't have that trademark adult-baby-shoe look of regular Ugg boots. It's also a shame because I suspect these would be exceptionally comfortable in the correct fitment. They look good, they have decent cushion to the footbed, and the thick shearling is very soft. If you order these a full size-size and a half up I think you'll love them. Update: Amazon.com didn't have the correct larger size that I needed so I ended up saving my 12s to give as a gift and then buying a Size 13 for myself from another retailer. The size 13s indeed were the correct equivalent to my usual size 12 and they fit fine. They initially felt good on my right foot but had a weird seam or extra glue in the left toe box that felt odd at first but eventually wore-in. They look decent for this style of boot for a guy, and they are great for wearing as couch slippers and for comfy footwear on long car rides or short errands out. Very comfortable as long as you aren't walking. When I walk around in them they slide around on my foot, and I become aware of the unfinished feel of the footbed which has decently thick shearling but underneath doesn't really conform to the shape of my foot. Little arch support and a rather lumpy stiff surface under that nice shearling. These would feel perfect with a squishy layer of memory foam in the footbed. They are better slipper boots for sitting than walking. I am happy with them in that capacity at least, and they are my current go-to slippers, but far from perfect as boots. If they were sized right, had a little more cushion and a more refined shape to the footbed, and were sized accurately, these would get a 5 star rating from me. Only got a 3 star (upgraded from a 2 star) rating from me because of the cost, inconvenience, and wait-time of having to re-order them, and then continuing to have these little niggling annoyances with them after that. I'm sure I would have given them a 4 if they delivered the correct size the first time as they are a much better value when you don't have to pay double for them.

Very nice boots just sized a little too small.
I ordered a men's size 10. I normally wear a size 9M or 9.5M. These Bear Paws labeled size 10 force my toes right to the end of the toe box. Width is a little snug but that is expected with shearling lining. They are well made just are not the length I expected. Walking in them is uncomfortable because I have to curl my toes to not have them jammed aginst the toe box. I have ordered a pair in size 11 because I like the quality that I see in them. Edit: I received my size 11 boots and my bare feet swim in them. I need to wear heavy boot socks with them or else let them be loose. Upon further examination, the shearling fur in my size 10 boots is about twice as thick as the shearling in the size 11 boots. So the shearling at the heel is pushing the toes into the front of the boot. The shearling will compress with use, I will try wearing the size 10s to see if they will work after a while in bare feet.

perfect fit
I previously order a size 11 but it was too tight ...and I wear size 10. I had to pay to return them.

Love these!
I bought these specifically for the reason of taking my dog outside, in the Canadian winter, without having to throw socks on. Now I wear them whenever the heck I want. Great product and great price!
