DAP 18715 2 Pack 10.1 oz. Extreme Stretch Premium Crackproof Elastomeric Sealant, White

Works well for what it is intended for (and likely things it isn't). Don't spend the extra money if all you need is Alex Plus
Works so far. This is not your regular caulk for normal use, like in bathrooms, around sinks, etc...Alex Plus works great for those things, with no problems, and is the cheaper (and proper) option for those things. This is for PROBLEM AREAS, in settling homes/buildings, where ceilings are pulling away from trim (re-bracing rafters is costly and takes a lot of time to do it right, so you use this stuff in the cracks created above the trim as a temporary solution to the cosmetic issues until/if you get the actual problem fixed), walls pulling from cabinets (again, good solution to the cosmetic problem, but not a fix), and where things generally aren't staying in place like they should due to things moving that shouldn't. Regular acrylic latex caulk (Alex Plus) will work great for things that don't move, or only move a little due to normal settling or use, but when things move enough that the other stuff pulls away in a short period of time or splits down the middle, due to movement of the joint, THEN you use this stuff (and it is recommended you find the PROBLEM that is causing this symptom, and repair the issue properly). If your maintenance guy has a ton of this in his closet, you know they aren't into fixing the structure or large issues, and the turd has a ton of polish.

Great product
This stuff looks and performs great. It is stretchy, as advertised, applies smoothly, is paintable, and cleans up easily. Everything I want in a caulk.
