Love, love, love this collar! I used to be able to find thick collars for my pit bull but for the past year they seemed to have vanished. I came across these and bought two one for her and one for my Dane/Pit mix. These are tough, thickly padded and great quality. I haven’t even had to wash hers but the one shown roll in mud and all it takes is a quick wipe down with a damp cloth. I highly recommend these for any size dog. I got these extra large for the pittie (74 lbs ) who’s neck is just huge and extra large for the 130 lb Dane mix.

We were looking for Xlarge, sturdy collars. Which were a little difficult to find. We have (2) Bull Mastiffs. Our female is @ 145lbs & our male is 125lbs. We use an wifi driven invisible fence on our 17 acres to make sure they stay on the property. The wireless fence has boxes that fit on their collars. If they get to close to the perimeter the boxes beep. If they try to breech perimeter the boxes have 1" inch probgs that deliver a shock. The problem we always have is finding large enough collars so that the prongs do not jab into there necks. We were actually removing the collars while the were indoors because we didn't want them to be uncomfortable. Wheb the collars arrived my husband stated they reminded him of the military grade collars the dogs wear. He did not think he would be able to modify the collars to add the boxes because holes need to be made in collars for the prongs. He was able to modify the collars even with the durable construction. We no longer have to remove collars when our dogs are indoors and everyone is happy not having to worry about the prongs digging into our dogs neck's. We highly recommend these collars and will buy these again when needed. Another nice feature is the large sturdy metal loop. People who have digs such as ours know that we have a responsibility to keep them under control. So if we have an unexpected delivery or someone just popping in, we have the ability to grab the metal loop to hokd them back or put them indoors. Thor & Isabella thank you! I only gave 3 stars for stretch because these collars do not stretch as it would defeat the purpose!😉

5 stars for the key points quality, value and sturdy. -3 for it doesn't fit at all. Measured as is in the listing and it should fit perfectly, but it's way too big. Note the listing says APPROXIMATELY. It's useless and going in donation bin brand new.

As soon as I opened the box, I knew this would keep my 130lb crazy moose-dog in check. The pet big box stores didn't have anything even approaching the build of this collar. Six months, hasn't stretched or even worn the eyelets open. Fantastic.

This collar was worn by a 65 pound dog for less than 10 days and it fell apart. The fog was running free. I found the collar in the yard not far from the end of his chain. The D ring is missing entirely, the arms that the belt goes thru were pulled completely open.Very poor quality. Thank goodness we were at the back of our property clearing out brush when the dog came running thru and we got him before he got out to a road and got hit or taken.

This is our 3rd collar for our labs. They play really hard and the first one we bought for our Maggie had become frayed. Charlie's (he weighs 109 lbs.) is still like new. They are thick and sturdy. We will continue to purchase these.

Dog collar is strong and the width would make it more comfortable for the dog when pulling on it. Also with the belt like buckle it doesn’t slip. Had couple nylon adjustable collars they would gradually slip and eventually dog would slip his collar creating havoc chewing everything 🙄

The collar had been great until today. Dog went after a rabbit, and the ring on the collar you attach a leash to completely failed. Admittedly, she'd incredibly strong and I doubt this would be a normal issue for too many others, but the reality of the situation is this part of the collar failed for us and could fail for you. The collar looks great and up until now worked awesome. The rest of the collar is incredibly sturdy and has held up longer than any other collar or leash we've owned, so if you don't think your dog is strong enough to bend the ring then I'd highly recommend this collar

Es una muy buena opción a los collares de cuero pues a diferencia de esos, éste no se hace grande con el tiempo. No hay mucho que pensar, es un muy buen collar si tu perrito da muchos tirones al pasear.
