Traffic Cone Orange - China Glaze Orange Knockout, NOT Japanese Koi
I wore this polish for one day and it’s performance was well under what is expected of a China Glaze polish... there was a cloudy blob in the middle of each of my nails where it looked like the polish was not adhered to my nail, and any nail that was able to bend due to their length had a crack in the polish along each of the nails on either side where my nail had bent. This formula was streaky and thin.I will say I have owned China Glaze Japanese Koi and had it a very, very long time, it just dried out because I didn’t screw the lid down all the way and wanted to replace it because it is my very favorite. That being said, the original China Glaze polish I had was nothing like this... in fact, I just came from the Sally store where I bought Orange Knockout because that is what was available that comes close to this color and this polish I received from my Amazon order matches it exactly, in shade anyways.The pic is of my original Japanese Koi from the 2013 revamp of the Ink collection (the swatch on top) and the bottom swatch is the Japanese Koi from my Amazon order (on the left) and on the right of the bottom swatch is the China Glaze Orange Knockout from today’s trip.It’s a subtle difference but the original Japanese Koi leans more toward red (as you can see on the left, the right half of the swatch has matte top coat which makes it look lighter) and the bottom two swatches leans more toward yellow...I’m happy I didn’t pay a huge amount of money, but as you can see this color being sold, of it is in fact from the China Glaze company is not Japanese Koi and of anything, it’s Orange Knockout... you still save a buck or two over the Sally price but if you’re like me and are looking for Japanese Koi, don’t waste your time, this is not it!Also, neon colors do not show in photos, all three of these colors are bright traffic cone Orange, with Japanese Koi being more close to the true color because it leans more red, but in person they are as bright neon as they can be... I can’t speak for the one person who said they owned JK & it was coral but I have only seen it look that way in pictures myself.The second pic is when I just finished painting my nails (looks a bit more orange & somewhat neon) so it does look good at first, it just doesn’t stay that way... I’ve only had extremely cheap nail polish behave that way...

Japanese Koi color is neon orange not red orange
I thought Japanese Koi would be a bright, orangey red but it is more a super neon orange. Some pics online of Japanese Koi read very neon red/orange. This is legit traffic cone orange. Its quite neon and blazingly bright. The formula is matte. Overall I like the color but it is not anything like the one pictured.

The color is not what it appears to be in any online swatches. The nail polish delivered is NOT orange-red. It is, as another person stated, straight up traffic cone orange.Not what I was looking for at all.

Love love love the color. Nice and bright. Can't wait to paint my nails. Second polish I purchased from this seller. Already got my I on a Third I wanna get from them. Just like the first polish this one came bubble wrapped.

Scam
Not as pictured. This is a nauseating fluorescent orange. NOT Japanese Koi. I’m peeved as I’m sure someone who uses tanning beds and still has their 80’s hair would like this so they could have sold without deception.

The japanese koi is more orange
The japanese koi color I purchased looks much more red online than in person. When I received it I actually thought it was a way prettier shade of bright orange than red-orange.I recommend this color!

Questionable
Definitely not the colour advertised, which I was willing to overlook as it was still neon orange, just not the neon orange I thought I was ordering. However, the polish itself is streaky, does not adhere to my nail (it patches up and gathers, so there’s areas of über coverage, streaks of thin colour and areas of just...bare nail. It does this through multiple coats) and doesn’t seem to even out after layering coats. I’ve never had a polish like it, including those kiddy ones you get in sets as a child.

Excellent varnish but colour not as in picture
I love this varnish, it's hard wearing and good to apply. I've knocked one star off because the colour is MUCH brighter than the picture. It's fluorescent rather than just orange as it appears. I was happy to keep it as I use all sorts of colours, but I had to buy another to get the colour I originally wanted.

Beautiful colour.
Beautiful nail polish! The photograph does not do the nails justice. The colour is a very, very, VERY BRIGHT NEON ORANGE!I layered it over China Glaze's White on White and the colour absolutely pops!
