I will update this review when I start using the cups and see what they taste like. One might think that the Donut Shop coffee ...
I received the coffee today and only gave 2 stars because of the counts below not because of the coffee quality. That will come later. Just for giggles I counted the pods in the box and wanted to see if there was more of one roast then another. Sure enough there is more of one roast then another. Here is the breakdown:Donut Shop = 20Italian Roast = 11French Roast =13Costa Rican =12Colombian = 12Breakfast Blend = 4The box states 6 Unique Coffees, 12 Cups of Each Roast (see photo) but as you can see above there are more then 12 of some and not enough of others. However, it does at up to 72, just not 12 Cups of Each Roast as advertised on the box! I will update this review when I start using the cups and see what they taste like. One might think that the Donut Shop coffee is cheaper than the Breakfast Blend coffee, that's why you get 5 times as much Donut Shop roast. Don't know but sure seems that way by the numbers.

When I worked at Starbucks I had to taste EVERY bag of coffee. Bestpresso veriety pack is like going on that adventure all over again! It is Starbucks quality coffee without having to break the bank. We are NEVER getting Dunkin or Starbucks K-Cups ever again! This is the real deal! Thank you Bestpresso for providing high quality, adorably-designed K Cups for this tired momma 😊

50% chance of undrinkable
Bought these because the price per cup looked good. Unfortunately, about half of the cups I’ve made have had the pictured sludge of coffee grounds on the bottom. Not a very good deal when I’ve had to dump half the cups because they were undrinkable.

A STRONG brew and please read all this review
So, I received these yesterday and as soon as I did I decided to try one out. I am a Donut Shop flavor gal and it was my first choice. Let me say that I did read extensive reviews and questions on this and other brands before I decided on this one, mainly because of the price point. Well the first cup was a disaster! The coffee maker dribbled out maybe a tablespoon of lightly colored water. I raised the lever and tried again with the same pod. Nope, coffee maker wouldn't have it. It decided to turn itself off the two following times of taking and raising/lowering the lever. At this point the descale light has also decided to make it's presence known. By now, the coffee maker (or my own stubbornness) has made a mess. I own a Kuerig Classic coffee maker, by the way. I am thinking that I just wasted my money at this point (I had already de-boxed 4 of the k-cups). So then I remembered some of the other reviews on a different brand saying that the k-cup needed to be punctured on the bottom before it would work properly (no clue as to why except for maybe a different kind of material is used). So after I cleaned up the mess I decided to try again. I placed the k-cup pod into the machine and instead of closing the lever I took both thumbs and pushed the pod down into the coffee maker. Snap! Pulled the lever down, selected my size, and BINGO! It worked like a charm. The coffee is good. I will say that it is a robust, strong brew so if you're not into that, I'd look elsewhere. For the money though, in my opinion, you can't beat it. I had a cup of the Breakfast Blend this morning and it was as good as the Donut Shop. I'll be trying the other blends later. Just be sure that you push down with your thumbs on the pod in the machine before lowering the level and you shouldn't have any trouble.

If you're looking for full-bodied, flavorful coffee, here you go.
In my quest for a full, rich cup of K-cup coffee, I've found a winner. This brew seems fresh and makes a strong, full-bodied cup that stands above the rest. There are see-the-bottom-of-the-cup pods that are---to me at least---the worst. Coffee that looks like tea isn't worth drinking except in an emergency. Most pod coffees seem to be in the middle---enough body and flavor to drink, but non-descript, and lacking any real character. Some are a little stale, some very mild, some burned and bitter tasting. A lot of "mehhh" coffees are out there. This one, though, stands out as really good. Strong and rich, but smooth enough to avoid that bitter burned flavor common to many coffee house blends. It is more on the bold side and some might like a little mellower finish (like Duncan Donuts original---one of my favorites), but I'm happy with a really sturdy cup of coffee and this one delivers.I don't taste a big difference between the varieties, the differences seeming mostly in the darkness of the roast which I would place in order from lightest to darkest tasting: Breakfast Blend, Donut Shop, Columbian and Italian Roast. I anticipated the Italian Roast as being a little dark and bitter, but it actually managed to be dark and smooth and is really good. I like them all, with breakfast blend probably being my favorite. The packaging is also very neat and attractive, speaking to attention to detail and quality. Bestspresso Coffee is a pleasant find all the way around.Bottom line: if this was the only coffee I could have in the house for a year, I'd be more than happy with it.

WOW! Never buying other k-cups again
Wow!Been drinking these for the last week or so, and my mornings have never been more productive! Really goes great with my morning donut :)Very balanced flavor with rich undertones. It provides a lovely aroma for my apartment and I have gotten my roommates addicted to this brand as well. You can tell that they don't skimp on quality, really an amazing value. If you're looking for new K-cups, look nowhere else! You won't be disappointed.

Italian roast is tasty but not a true dark roast.
I ordered the Italian roast on 9/6 it was delivered 9/7. What?? Awesome!! This coffee has a great flavor though I woul not consider this a dark roast. Its definitely more of a medium roast. For the purpose of this photo review I brewed the coffee into a wine glass. As you can see, it's pretty light and definitely not a dark roast. Nevertheless, it's still very smooth and tasty. I will drink this for sure but it would be nice to find coffee at this price point with a true dark roast.

"Exploding" pods solved!
After reading the reviews that the pods ruptured and overflowed for some, not others, we still took a chance and tried these. Followed the advice and added an extra couple holes in the bottom of the pod, but lo and behold, still popped open and ruined the cup with grounds. Not one to be deterred (and with 95 more pods to go) tried some experimenting and I think we've found the difference between those who have success and those with a mouthful of grounds! It's all down to the cup size (well, the amount of water, really). Seems to be the case that the filter in the pod is a bit thicker and won't flow the water through fast enough to prevent it swelling up and popping the seal on the foil "lid". Here's what works:Inserting the pod a few times, with a slight rotation between, to pop 2 extra holes in the base of the pod. Using a smaller cup size, not the standard travel-mug size; I usually fill up 2/3 of a 14 oz mugAnd using the "bold" setting, so the machine pushes the water in little bursts instead of a steady stream.Since those changes, success, every time! No more chewable cuppa, and we get to enjoy the fantastic flavour of coffee hidden behind these contentious little cups!

Cups were faulty in the Keurig machine
The first few coffee pods and taste of the coffee were great but I could tell the actual pods were heavier and the plastic seemed thicker than some of the other pods I typically purchase. As it turns out it affected my Keurig machine and the contents in the pod continuously came under pressure and caused a problem with the machine. I then tried a different brand and there was not an issue. While I liked the coffee I cannot buy this again and have a lot left that I cannot use. Be careful

Good coffee, not quite there with the pod design
When you first put the pods in they never work in my keurig 2.0. After a lot of fiddling, (and I mean a lot) you can eventually get the machine to accept the pod. The coffee itself is excellent. So to get it to work here is what I have found...1st when you put the pod in, press it down with enough force to pop the hole in the bottom. 2nd is the tricky part... the toggle beneath the pod that moves up and down, you have to slide it down slightly. And now close the lid. This is a trial and error thing, as to how much you slide the toggle. A lot of slight adjustments and closing the lid... repeat.

Great coffee for very reasonable price!
I was hesitant to buy such large quantity of the coffee because of many negative reviews stating issue with k-cup compatibility( mostly with Keurig 2.0 or later versions). I have to admit that I had absolutely no issue with those k-cups ( I have original Keurig machine) , it's great taste and it has dark, strong , medium and light caffeine level. Besides, it came for $0.46 per cup, very reasonable for Made in Italy K-cup coffee with great taste!
