Hands down worth the price and simple to install
This product was beyond my expectations! Let me say why.My application that I bought the lights for:I have 15 exterior can lights on my house. Conventional bezels leave a 'nice' little 3/8th inch gap around the bulb which the wasps in my area love. Just think...free access to make my hive and torment this homeowner. This bezel (and light) solved this gap issue. It was super easy to install (check), gave a solid surface to keep the wasp/nats/bees/hornets out (check), look great (check) and gave more light than I had before (yea). So to the details:If you open the top of the box, there is a layer of the bulb connecter/transformer on the top layer and right under that is each of the bezels. Good way of transporting the product. It also made it easy to work out of, which was a surprise.I, armed with a long adapter on my vacuum, started to dissassemble the existing configuration. The work itself took less than 2 minutes start to finish, but I had to deal with these creatures that love to zap you, especially when you hang around their nests. So the vacuum did a good job with the ones behind the surfaces, but, I did plenty of jump and run as the wasps came out MAD.My units had a bezel already, so equipped with my favorite long nose pliers, I unset both the hard side, then the easy side, while holding the bezel in place. At least this is what I ended up doing after get dumped with dust, dead wasps, live wasps and other crap that was lying behind the bezel. Then I took my vacuum and slowly lowered one side, sucking as much as I could. This worked pretty well overall.Next, I vacuumed that cavity nicely. I could have put the new unit up at that time, which I did the first couple bezels, but on the third, I heard that scarry zzzzzz sound inside the plate that the light bulb screws into. Not cool.So I unscrewed the wing nut, held the bracket against the edge and grabbed the side of the bracket and started rotating that around so I could see what was inside.YIKES...another mad dash off the step ladder so the wasps wouldn't get me.After a few minutes, back to the vacuum sucking the stuff behind. Turns out that the full 6" base of the recessed housing was filled with about 1" of wasp comb. I mean completely across. With plenty of active larva still in the combs...The bottom line, is for me, taking out all the elements to make sure it is clean was a peace of mind thing...and probably would keep that cavity clear of wasps for a while. Now that the wasp debris was cleared, installation was simple.insert the bulb screw into like a light bulb.Hold the orange plug from the bezel and connect it from the bulb adapter.Compress the first side into the double hook in the recessed light fixture.Compress and insert the other side.Slowly push up on the unit, making sure that the power was out of the way. This probably took less than 2 minutes. After I was done with the first one, I turned on the light and had my wife look at it. She loved them! The units looked like they had enough brightness during the day, and then at night, I think they were a bit brighter than the bulbs that I replaced.I have used LED bulbs for years. The owners of this house still have plenty of halogen and incandescent bulbs, and even a few CFD (fluorescent). So I know I will get some energy efficiency out of these LED bulbs. I will also get consistent light on all the exterior bulbs. The bottom line is these bezels/bulbs are worth the investment. At under $6/bulb with the bezel it is affordable. New bezels themselves are typically over $10/bezel and it is hard to find dimmable LED recessed lighting bulbs for less than $2/bulb.My wife loved the project so much that we intend to replace the interior can lights with these bulbs. So I expect another 2 box order (I think we have 22 cans in our house).

Easy retrofit, great customer service
I bought these back in 2019 to retrofit all of my canister lights from incandescent to LED. The price was extremely reasonable, which was important since I had 24 to retrofit.Installation: Took less than 2 minutes on each light. Extremely easy.Brightness: Being 3 years since I have installed these, there does not seem to be any diminishing light. They are as bright now as the day I put them in. And they are definitely bright.Longevity/Lifespan: As I said previously, I purchased these lights 3 years ago (thought I had reviewed them, apparently I did not, so here we are). In the 3 years that they have been installed, they have definitely brightened up everything that I do. Up to last week, I never had so much as a flicker from any of them.I have 5 of these lights on my covered porch which is exposed to heat (max temp since install 107° feel like temp) and the cold (max low temp since install 7° with wind chill). My porch lights are on approximately 8-10 hours per day, no issues. The lights inside are on approximately 12-16 hours per day, no issues.Customer Service: As I said, I have had no issues until last week when 2 of my interior lights had dimmed down to almost nothing. I messaged the company through the company link on the item description page of the lights. I sent them a message, letting them know the ASIN #, the purchase date/info and the issue that I was having. I asked them about buying individual replacements, these lights have worked so well, I had no issues with purchasing replacements. Their customer service messaged me back within an hour, on a Sunday mind you, explained that they do not sell individual lights, but the do have a 5 year warranty on the lights that I had forgot about. They informed me that if I would send them my address, they would send me replacement lights, no charge for anything.I received my replacement lights within a week, installed them and they are working just as well as the previously purchased ones.I have to say, a reasonably priced, quality product with excellent customer service. I will definitely recommend and purchase from them again.

Lights redesigned form older model and great customer service
*** Update 4/14/2023 *** Bbounder customer service reached out to me and offered a refund on my original purchase due to the defects in the old lights. They followed up several times to ensure the issue was resolved and even offered to send me an additional set of lights. I took the refund but not the additional light set, because as I noted in the original review the new set of lights has been redesigned so I have high hopes and don't need two boxes. . Based off the customer service and the 5-year warranty on the new package of 12 lights I would recommend purchasing. Changed review from 3 to 5 tarts based off customer service experience.Original April 13th, 2023: I bought these in March 2020, in the last 6 months several started to dim, and now 4 are completely dead, and 3 are barely lit. I just re-bought another 12 pack because I had to match the light style of the rest of the open room. The new 12 pack is a redesign from the ones I bought in March 2020, so hopefully they have worked out the bugs. The new pack says they come with a 5 year warranty and I will file it away since the old ones lasted about half that. Still very easy to install, work with many dimmers and look good when functioning properly.

Not the same as last order
Two lights went out after 3 years. Clicked on buy again to get the same ones but as you can see from the photo they are different designs. The one on the left is the new one. It’s ok they will eventually match when the rest go out. Easy to install though and nicer than the original canned lighting.
