I have noticed a few reviews stating things like, not very bright etc, all I can tell you is that given the price and the fact that you get X2 rechargeable torches in the box, these represent excellent value for money. As for the overall brightness, I can only comment on my personal experience after buying these. I needed a light to get in between the engine components on my Mini Cooper S, where space is at a premium! These are perfect for the job! As they are quite narrow and not too heavy, you are easily able to direct the light to where you need it. The magnet has been strong enough to position the torch where I'm not going to be able to knock it, and then can angle the light stick just right, leaving both hands free, which, trust me, is a must given the particular task I was working on! There is even a plastic hook, cleverly concealed around the round end of the torch, so you can hang these up, if you are not able to use the magnet. As for brightness, well they are certainly bright enough for what I needed them for, you can dim them twice by pressing the on button, right down until just a little spotlight right on the very end illuminates, pretty handy. They arrived pre charged, I'd say in the 70 percent range, so I popped them on to fully charge, which took about 40 minutes or so, I was in no hurry, so just plan ahead. Overall, these represent great value for money, they work well, brilliant that they are rechargeable and take up little space. They arrive nicely packaged, so would even make a nice gift. I'm more than happy to recommend these.

got this as my husband had lost his previous torch and it turned out to be way more useful than expected. The lights are bright without being harsh, and the 360° rotation makes it super easy to angle exactly where you need it—especially when working in tight spots. The magnetic base is really strong, which is a huge plus for hands-free use, and the hook option is great for hanging it up in the garage or even outside for grilling at night. The rechargeable feature is also convenient, no messing around with batteries. Overall, it feels sturdy and well-made, not cheap or flimsy. Decent lights that are very bright, and the magnet is very strong. The only thing is they have this slight texture in the plastic which I am not a massive fan of; it is like a soft-touch feel to them. However, as lights, they are brilliant for working on cars and suspensions as they stick to the car really easily.

Probably the best thing I've bought from Amazon in ages! After being told by a friend about these, I ordered them and thought they'd be handy for the odd bit of work on the car. How wrong was I! They are used all the time, and for different things. I've worked on cars, motorbikes, washing machines (yes really) in the loft, in the airing cupboard setting the central heating timer and taken them camping (they enjoyed it) I put one in my tank bag when I went on a motorbike tour of Normandy recently, and used it a few times that week. When I went camping I used it to light my way to the toilet block at night using the torch function, then used it in the tent as my main light. It lasted the 4 days I was there so that tells you how good the battery is, but YMMV The LED 'lens' can be moved to various positions so you can get the perfect light on your work area. The base is magnetic so it will 'stick' to most ferrous metals, and there's also a fold away hook built into the bottom, which is great when there's nothing to 'stick' it to such as when you're camping or up in the loft. The LED light is very bright - WARNING - DO NOT turn it on while looking directly into it or shine it directly into other peoples eyes! It is so bright it will give you spots in front of your eyes for a while, so you have been warned! The light is so powerful (I think I've mentioned that its bright) that it will light up a whole room. The good thing is that there are two light settings. Press it once and its on, press it again and it lowers the light intensity, press it a third time and the tip of the lens lights up, a bit like a torch (flashlight to our American cousins) Press and hold the power button and the LED lens turns red, press it again and its a dimmer red, third press and it flashes red on and off like an emergency beacon. Lets hope you never need it, but its nice to know its there. They charge up via a standard USB connector (as used by Android type phones etc) To show its charging there's a small LED that glows red, then green when charged. The only very small downside is that they can take a while to charge when they're low or flat which is probably why there's two of them. Note to self, always keep them fully charged so you can swap them over if your using one and it runs flat. A great piece of it kit, which I now wouldn't be without it. Very highly recommended.

These torches have way exceeded my expectations. They are lightweight, the high setting is very bright and the torch lens on the end is very handy. The unit just keeps giving with a strong magnet, a hook if you need to hang it up. The rubber handle makes it feel like a sturdy piece of kit. Time will tell how the battery performs but for the price & the fact you get 2x units for this price point make it such a good buy.

One of the lights is perfect, a nice product. The other unfortunately does not charge up. When plugged in to charge nothing happens. Of course by the time we realised it was a problem it was too late to return. Obviously this renders the light useless

It is an good value for money with great quality and strong enough light. I really like the magnet, it's strong and hold the position in place. Flexible head for convenience. Not too big and not too small. I'd say it's a perfect size. Battery life is okey.

Great lights and good value for the money. Light feels robust and strong with a wide range of angles on the main LED. Light goes to red if you hold down the on button for 5 seconds (also flashes red on second press). On the white light the first press is bright, 2nd press slightly dimmer, and 3rd press turns on a mini light on top of the main light. There is also a fairly strong magnet on the bottom and a hidden hook at the bottom as well which pulls out with your fingernail. Yes, happy with purchase and will come in very handy with my mechanical work.
