Quality milk chocolate in a good serving size. Big if you are a kid! Modest for adults!
When my favorite advent calendar was sold out, I bought this one as a substitute. I do prefer my original brand, but this was fine. My favorite brand has a mix of milk chocolate in different holiday themed shapes with creamy fillings. This calendar is strictly solid milk chocolate in a small rectangle shape wrapped as a gift in foil.

Quality chocolate, great tradition
Madelaine Chocolate countdown calendars have become an annual tradition for my family. Finding your own calendar on your breakfast placemat every December 1st is much anticipated. They are more expensive than the ones you find in the local market, but are always worth the price. It is delightful to find an actual piece of real chocolate, wrapped like a little gift under each window. It will always be part of our Christmas tradition. Thanks for the great chocolate!

Good chocolate!
Yes, a bit pricier than ones you find in grocery stores, etc. But we’ve heard from the folks we’ve given them to that the chocolate is quite good!

Perfect
This was a yummy advent calendar! I was looking for something with words in the window every night, and something other than the yucky cheap chocolates... these are cute chocolate presents, and they’re maybe 3x bigger than the standard little advent calendars! Awesome!

Son loved it
My son enjoyed opening each panel and reading the messages. Definitely enjoyed the chocolate treats inside. Only issue was the box was a bit damaged from delivery and some panels were open, but no chocolate had been damaged.

Hope chocolate is better than the package
Not Dec yet so chocolate might be delicious, but on the downside the larger candy size makes it really heavy but the packaging is like any other calendar. Maybe if it came shipped in a box it'd be ok but in a bubble envelope it got crushed & banged up & feels ready to fall apart, plus all the doors are popped open. The design is cute but rather blurry on the snowman one & wish they'd stick their advertising on the back, or at least make it smaller. One big plus - which I'd specifically been after as my son's just turning 3 - is the bigger than average, easy to spot numbers. I would've loved to find one with them in order to better help him count down & learn the numbers, etc but can't seem to find such a thing... Idea for next year, advent calendar makers!

No Bounty behind these doors!
It seems like everyone is upset with their chocolate advent calendars this year, but it’s probably because they didn’t order this one!! The chocolate is good size, tasty and they have fun little stories behind each door! Very cute and well worth the money!

Old and discolored stale
First couple pieces were ok after that each was old- discolored, damaged looking had to be tossed out. Unfit to be eaten. Wonder if product was leftover from previous years! So sad to have this happen to my granddaughter!
