Storyboarding: Turning Script to Motion (Digital Filmmaker Series)

I've found this book to be very useful if you've been dreaming of preproduction but know little about storyboards and shooting scripts but is familiar with writing scripts. Then this book could help you. It help me map out a way not only to visually tell my story but help me shape my feature script and a more communicative shooting script.

This is a fantastic book. I always wanted to know what it took to get from script to film. The authors were clear and concise, just what you need to know in a way that is easy to follow.

I got the Kindle Ebook version since it was cheaper than buying it used or new from Amazon. BUT at least half the images in the book weren't there. They were just a black border with white in it. And there were a bunch of times letters would be capitalized when they shouldn't be.

An excellent and informative book authored by dedicated professionals. Great as a learning tool and a terrific addition to your reference library!

This book answered a lot of my questions about how the role and use of storyboarding. The illustrations were great and it was fascinating to see how they put a film together.

I've dabbled in creating digital storyboards before, but when I needed to find some extra help on the subject nothing seemed to work. That was until I discovered "Storyboarding." I've never had a more instructional guide than I do now with this gem. The authors break down each step that goes into storyboarding and lead you to discover how easy it is to make your own. The book goes through how to create very detailed storyboards in a incredible insightful way. Not to mention, it is a fun read! I love the story that runs throughout the book too! I highly recommend this book.

I liked this book because a cd comes with contents related directly to the book's main Project that they used in order to explain and elaborate on the topic.This book is a great intro to anyone looking into learning Storyboarding.
