I was a little disappointed as the color is a bit darker than what is shown. However, it will still work with my outfit 😊. The main reason I purchased this is because I needed ONE bag to take to an event. On top of my usual pocketbook items (wallet, keys, cell phone, etc.), I will be taking my tablet and a professional camera and telephoto lens. It might end up being a bit heavy, but this bag is perfect and still stylish! One large, open space and a small interior pocket that I can easily access my cell phone from. I will very likely be buying this in one or two other colors. Good quality for the price, too 😊.

This purse is incredible for the price. It is sturdy, can carry a lot of things and super simple & cute. I recommend this 100%. There are so many great color options as well. I can take it anywhere because it is so versatile.

Update: I bought this a while ago when I was interviewing, and had never used it for work until this week. It holds much more than I would have guessed and looks more professional than my usual canvas bag. Surprisingly it fit everything, including glasses, box of allergy pills, a zillion pencils and pens, tissues, wallet, phone, keys, other random bits and bobs, and a freezie meal for lunch. I had to carry my water bottle but that's fine.Original review:I don't know why, since I did check the measurements, but I was visualizing something bigger. This could pass for a large purse. The compact size is more streamlined, and it's exactly what I needed to carry the basics like padfolio, wallet, phone etc. for job interviews (could also fit a laptop). If that's what you need, you're set - it's minimalist and good for when you want to look polished. I just wouldn't get this expecting to use it for the gym or a weekend trip. It's not that kind of tote.Another reviewer said the faux pebbled leather texture looked the highest quality, so that's what I chose. I'm grateful for their insight and totally agree. I was nervous it would look super cheapo, given the very low price, but in person it looks much more expensive than it is. (Love it when that happens!)The construction quality is impressive, and despite arriving folded, it doesn't have any creasing. One major benefit to buying here vs. in a store is that instead of being limited to the standard black or random neutrals, they have a zillion colors and textures, so you can get a few and switch them out.It's an interesting design - narrower at the top but then has a flat bottom with more space. There's also a pocket inside. It comes with a decorative tassel to jazz it up, and a surprisingly cute and versatile strip of scarf they include as an option. Normally the scarf-on-bag-handle isn't my thing, but here it somehow looks good. This is a great choice if you're looking for a simple bag to take to work.

Perhaps I had unrealistic expectations for the price - this fell apart the first time I used it, and came undone on the side stitch. It looks decent, but the quality is terrible. I would not buy again. Spend more money, and get something of decent quality. Too bad, because it's a nice size...and would have been great if it didn't fall apart.

I liked this bag so much that after a year of very hard abuse I bought another. Consistent color from one purchase to the next. This bag is a cheap price point and super durable. It wipes off with a damp cloth and held its color for the year that I’ve been using it.I take it everywhere and am not delicate about its treatment. It held up better than a bag at this price point should.

Based on the reviews I had high hopes but I was quickly brought back down to reality. It’s a perfectly fine bag, I’ll use it for library books or something similar. But, it’s absolutely not suitable as a purse.It’s exactly what it says it is; it’s totally my bad for expecting more. For a ten dollar leather (synthetic, I assume) tote bag, it’s absolutely five stars. As a purse, I’d give it 2-3.
