Q: How is it fastened to the shower base?

There are two peel and stick strips of adhesive bonded on each side of the base of the water dam. You simply peel the tape off of the adhesive and push the water dam into place.

Q: Does it adhere to concrete?

Glad you asked. We have a number of customers that are using the Collapsible Water Dam on concrete. ( Some in garages to divert water and other use to protect machinery or equipment ) The key is to clean the concrete surface with a light rubbing of steel wool and rubbing alcohol to ensure the surface is free from any dirt or oils before placement of the dam.

Q: How do I run the ends about 2 inches up wall on each side of shower stall without it bunching up?

For customers with a curved shower base - If you expect high levels of water to build up with in your shower stall without being able to drain away, you can run the water dam up a curved wall approximately 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch. We would suggest putting an end cap in each end of the water dam to provide you a professional looking finish.
