Yet another brilliant product from Catit
This product has enabled me as a wheelchair user more independence. I don't drive and taxi fares are extortionate. The Cabrio is the right size to sit in my lap and with the shoulder strap looped over the back of my neck, it secures the carrier from falling off, leaving my hands free to self propel. The picture doesn't show it well, but had to take my new rescue (Romania) to the vets, I used a bus as I was trying to save on taxi fares (in the 3 weeks she's been with me, she's cost about £250, so trying not to pay out a further £40 in taxi fares) but the strap is looped round my neck. I managed the half mile trip to the bus stop (through town) the bus journey and the 100metre roll to the vets and then back again. Kitty was safe and secure the entire time and even fell asleep on the return journey. My neck hurts a tad, but it does anyway propelling uphill in a chair.Cat loved it, and even enjoyed the packaging.

All round best pet carrier around
Best beat carrier around. Your able to open it from the top. The cats aren't so scared of been shoved into a closed container. Loads of air vents and window vision. Also with the ability to give them food and water, without having to open the whole unit. The extra support of a shoulder strap and hand handle. Great for carrying heavier pets.

Always Pros and Cons!
I’ve always used a fabric carrier for my cats but figured it was time to upgrade! I got this as I swear by catit products. Let’s start with the good things about it;- It’s super sturdy.- If you struggle getting your cat into normal carriers, this bad boy will help as it has multiple points of entry!-the food and water bowls are great for long journeys-the colours are great and it looks fancy. So all in all, it does the job. But, and these are some pretty big BUTS;-The carrier is VERY heavy, even without an animal inside which might not be ideal to someone who’s not as strong or possibly disabled/struggles.-As much as building it wasn’t too much of a struggle it can be difficult and quite clunky to open and close at times.-I’d maybe suggest this as a travelling case for car rides/holidays. It’s definitely not the case you want for quick vet journeys; it’s just too clunky, heavy and all round not easy to manoeuvre. So, Do I regret buying it? Kind of. As someone who only uses it for vet trips, it kind of seems like a waste BUT it’s handy to know I have a decent case incase of longer travel.

Easy to assemble and sturdy
Very sturdy and my cats seem to prefer it over the standard cat carrier. Plenty of room for them to move about in.

A great cat carrier
We’ve already had one of these for years and bought another for my daughter, who not only has two cats but also a couple of puppies who for now travel very well in the unit.It is sturdy, well designed and has both a front entry point and opening top . This is particularly good for vets for your pet may not want to be lifted out or feels more secure remaining in the carrier for initial contact with the vet.Several vets have commented on the sturdiness at ease of use of this carrier, reducing animal stress, particularly on long journeys or trips to the vet..I can only agree . Our first has lasted for around over seven years and I can look forwards to good service out of this additional one. there are many online reviews that regard this is one of the best pet carriers on the market, again, I can only agree. I have yet to see better. This new one came with a shoulder strap. However, I think that this is probably not as easy a way to carry your pet without avoidable jostling, given the case size. It’s much better carried by the handles.

Don't waste your money
The one thing a pet carrier must do is keep the pets safe from escaping. This carrier fails on this point and so many more. It is hard to assemble, and the front side dislodges very easily allowing pets to escape, the top door is fiddly to close, the quality of the whole thing is poor. My pet ferrets where able to push the front side of the cage off whilst I was driving and it's a miracle I didn't have an accident. Don't waste your money

Cats love it
Excellent, roomy and they sleep in it in lounge so are not scared by it. Love how you can buy replacement doors incase I break the original. Great design and size, one of my cats is huge!

Fiddly to assemble!
Assembly was very frustrating as it's difficult to get the 2 top parts to line up and close properly. Once that's done it does seem nice and sturdy, though. However, I will only be able to use the front door to load my cat into it as closing the top parts is so fiddly it would be impossible to do with a strong, reluctant cat to contain!
