Version 2 much better, and great customer service
I originally purchased this last November, and it was the version 1. As other people said, it was a little awkward to get started (weird button pushes - not too fast, not too slow), but once it started, it's unique form factor was great for getting into my shoulder. I was a little disappointed that the vibrations were all super high and didn't make it well suited for my neck without feeling my teeth feel all sorts of weird vibrations (kind of indescribable).Fast forward to January when I slept wrong and got it out. Although it was charged, I couldn't get it to turn on. After several attempts, I reached the company through the Amazon website and they were super responsive and helpful. I sent my old unit back to them with a prepaid shipping label they sent me (I was even able to just out it in my mailbox, so handy!) and a few days later I received the replacement, a Version 2.I will say the version 2 has some super improvements. First, there's not the sort of weird "Moorse Code" to turn it on (yay!). The other huge bonus is an extra speed - a lower one! This makes it more comfortable to use on the back of the neck as well. The only negative I'd say is that it is expensive, but it is a quality unit. It's got some weight to it, and the coating isn't like some of the cheaper rubber that gets all scratched up and the "nibs" all falling off and such.I'd definitely recommend the second version.

Awesome product! The Meteor does what it says it will do!
Very easy to use. It does take a few minutes to warm up if you want to use heat. I turn it on and then turn on the heat and let it set for 5 or so minutes before turning on the vibration mode. Currently dealing with plantar fasciitis in one foot. Easy to sit in a chair and roll under the foot. I also lie in bed and roll the ball under my calf from back of my heal to just below the knee by moving my leg up and down over the ball. The heat is wonderful for me since I cannot tolerate cold. Very soothing. My pain is lessening every day. Well worth the expense!

Could be five, if...
Of note: I am on my second unit; the first went back for the SAME reason the second is not "quite right." FIRST the good: I definitely like the vibration AND THE HEAT; the heat is fantastic, very warm and relatively quick to get warm. The vibration is a nice, smooth, consistent vibration at all levels. The ball rolls smoothly. The bad: There is a "plug" so-to-speak that seems to be screwed into the sphere and in that section is contained all of the working components. Oddly enough on BOTH units it only took a couple of uses and that plug or center section lifts up on one side as though it might pop out or come undone in some way. It has not come undone but now there is a raised "bump" on the sphere because of that lifting of the core and there seems to be no way God can get it to go back in place. I am not a large person but a fit, fitness enthusiast and this should not happen in my humble opinion with my average size. Again, Amazon did send me a replacement and it nearly immediately did the same thing. Also of note: they did a great job trying to create a creative button mechanism that would not "trigger" every time it was rolled over and it works...mostly. I would advise doing your best to avoid rolling over those and is a back and forth movement on a very smooth gym floor will change speeds from time-to-time. I will keep the unit because of the heat and very nice vibration but they could use a tweak or two on their next version.

Buyer Beware
First, I’d like to address what happens if you purchase and then decide to return this rather expensive product. Instead of refunding the purchase price to the original purchase source, Amazon issues you a credit to your account and never tells you. So, you still owe the cost of the item if you charged a credit card and you have a useless credit on your Amazon account. I would never have purchased this product if I had known this up front.MyoStorm Heating Vibrating Massage Ball Roller, sort of worked like described, but was difficult to manage with small hands. It was much harder than expected, so it was never comfortable when using the massage feature. The most disappointing part was that it never held a charge well. Yes, it would heat up, but once warm the charge would only last a few minutes. I do not know if this was a technical error on my part even though I read the instructions multiple times, nevertheless, I was never able to effectively use this product. So I returned it. I wanted to like this product, but it just wasn’t right for me.

Misses the mark
One of a kind therapy ball. It works as stated but it’s not easy to use. It’s heavy and bulky. It does do the job as advertised but be aware it’s heavy and it’s has a bit of girth to it. I wish they could design one that is just slightly bigger than a tennis ball. I have been suffering from two frozen shoulders (I spent 18 months 2 to 3 times a week at Physical Therapy for the right one and about a month after being release my left one began freezing so here I am going on 7 months of the same PT) and it causes terrible pain back in the scapula and upper shoulder area as well as just behind the arm pit. I have been using a tennis ball against the wall to massage and pressure point the worst pain out. I bought this in hopes to enhance the tennis ball idea. Unfortunately with its weight and bulk it was just too cumbersome to use with my issue. Anyone who has suffered a frozen shoulder understands its severe limiting of movement and for many the intense pain. I need something like this but lighter and smaller. I hope the company reads this and gets to work in designing one smaller like a tennis ball or a little bigger than.
