MINKA-AIREF518L-WH, Concept II LED White Flush Mount 44" Ceiling Fan with Remote Control and Included Wall Control

Had this installed by an electrician, since the place where it's installed needed a ceiling fan rated box. I have had 3 of the older model with the old style halogen bulb for nearly 8 years, and the bulb had to be replaced in each one at least once every year or so. This is with the light only used a couple of hours a month. I'm hoping the led "bulb" in the new one gets rid of the only complaint I've had.It did scare the hell out of me a couple of times when the light turned on in the middle of the night. I changed the frequency the remote used to another one and it hasn't happened since.

We have Minka Aire fans in all of our bedrooms, highly recommend. This one replaced a Hunter that lasted 1.5 years with the light acting up from day one. Well worth the higher price than other leading brands. Only negative is the wall control is tiny, but the remote is bigger and easier to read the the buttons.

I like this fan. Didn't take long at all to install. It is quiet. On the high fan setting, you can hear the wind. That being said, I have it in the bedroom and use the low setting to sleep. It has good air flow on low. I'm glad I read the other reviews regarding the light. Just hold the on button and it will change the amount of light. On high, it is very bright. I have it some where in the middle. I have only had the fan a month but I like it.

This fan is terrific, nice and quiet. The seller was great! A remote was missing from the box, and the seller was VERY PROMPT in sending the missing remote. I was impressed and would not hesitate to purchase from this seller again. We do have another fan from the same manufacturer so just be careful to make sure it is set up on a different frequency. I can't comment on ease of installation because we had a contractor install the unit.

Super-silent operation, even on highest speed setting. Turned a previously hot room with insufficient air conditioning into the most pleasant room, even on the hottest days. One caveat: if you want to use the light’s dimmer function you need to run two electrical lines—one for the fan and one for the light. Overall, very pleased with this fan. Highly recommended!

I have this in every room of my house and have had these for the last 20 years in each home I’ve owned. Silent, sleek and great ventilation.

Make sure to read closely mine did not come with a controller however is sold separately ones purchased the remote works perfectly

Worked out well for my squatty 8’ ceilings. Decent light, not super bright but puts out some good air.
