Appear to be decent fin straps for the money

I bought these back in the summer before a dive trip to Key Largo. Since this was my first ever boat dive trip, I packed a lot of extra crap. One of the more experienced divers made the comment, "You sure travel heavy!", but he was very impressed that I was able to fix my fin on the boat when I broke and lost a strap getting back in the boat after a dive. And when he needed something out of my SAD kit, he was sure happy I had extra stuff. These buckles are an exact match for the ones that came on my Frog Plus fins and work great.

Perfect replacement on originals. I recently took my fins out of storage and realized the straps had fallen apart. I have only to blame myself for putting these in an outside Florida storage unit for 2 years.I bet anyone having breakage is storing these outside or in the excessive sun/heat exposure. They are soft and over time will break but that is the trade off for comfort.Mine lasted several years of wear and tear before any issues that were caused by my improper storage. Buying back ups for any long trip.

The actual picture on the site is wrong - the buckles that arrived have a lip and a hole at the end and they attach by a "key" that fits into a hole in the fin. However the picture seems to be of the original FROG buckle. The buckles supplied are correct for the FROG PLUS fin and are model number BZ 170016. The original FROG buckle has a hole that fits over a moulded peg on the side of the fin.
