Disappointing at first
This tea is unsweetened, but coupled with a sweetener of your choice and served over ice, makes a refreshing beverage. It is expensive.

It’s good and it’s easy and quick!I use more to get the strength I like but it’s quite good- not WV root good but good!

No Flavor Whatsoever
When I lived in southern Virginia 50 years ago my family would make Sassafras tea from real Sassafras roots. It was great!. I expected the same from this. It has no flavor whatsoever. It tastes like someone added random flavors hoping to dupe consumers into thinking they were getting a hint of Sassafras. I strongly recommend against purchasing it!!!! I wasted my money!!!!

Not the same as the original Pappy's
It was good tasting but I only gave it 3 stars compared to the taste of the original, Pappy's recipe. The label advises it is supposed to be the same but it tasted way more diluted than the original. Still tastes okay but the recipe needs work in my opinion. The price is not that great either. I'll go back to picking my own fresh.
