I am not one to write a review but this cookbook deserves one. I bought this for myGranddaughter . So far, she made the Old-Fashion chocolate cake and the Rainbow Fruit Tart. She’s 7 years old and did it all. I just supervised. She served it to company and EVERYONE raved about them. They were honestly Amazing! I can’t wait to make more with her. Special time together and great recipes! Win/Win!

This is such a great book for kids to dip their toes in baking. My daughter loves it!

Very easy and fun recipes for budding bakers!!

I bought Super Simple Baking for Kids because my granddaughter loves experimenting with random ingredients, making bread, then she wants us to eat it! I read over the Quick and Easy Homemade Bread recipe on p.152 before giving it to her. It calls for 1 (7 ounce) package yeast 2 1/4) teaspoons). Yikes! The one package 2 1/4 teaspoons part is correct. But it is not 7 ounces. It is 7 grams. Luckily I caught this or I’m pretty sure my granddaughter would have been asking for 42 teaspoons of yeast. The same mistake is repeated on other pages calling for yeast.

“Super Simple Baking for Kids” has been a hit in our house! I love the instructional chapter—it makes it so easy to bake with my 8-year-old. The recipes are straightforward and fun, and there’s such a great variety. It’s been a perfect way for us to spend time together in the kitchen!

We love this cookbook! My 12 year old daughter has made the chocolate chip cookie recipe ALL BY HERSELF several times (one time she made 4 dozen for a party LOL) and they are delicious and easy to make. It's nice to find a kid's cookbook where the recipes are actually good and homemade and not just like "Take a tortilla..." The chocolate cake recipe is great too! She also made the meringues yesterday, which turned out well. We are looking forward to trying some of the other recipes in the book. Highly recommend!

My 11 and 7 year old used it to make homemade bread! I appreciate how simple the recipes are, though I wish the directions were written a little more clearly. I love that now that we have a couple of staples (flour, yeast, canola oil, salt, etc.), there are 4 or 5 different bread based recipes we can try such as pretzels and different kinds of dough.

I gave this 5 stars because the ideas and recipes are great. Just not really aimed for small kids. More 8/9 years up, would be brilliant for teenagers or students with no cooking skills. Only part for younger kids is the random placement of toy Dinosaurs. Not enough pictures of food about to bake. On a plus, recipes are good and can give lots of ideas. I have kept the book Bought for use with a 3 year old she didn't like it

The recipes are practical, fun, and most importantly, delicious. We’ve already made a batch of muffins and sugar cookies, and they turned out great! It introduces basic techniques without being overwhelming, making it perfect for beginners. My child feels proud and confident in the kitchen, and it’s been such a fun bonding activity for us to do together. Great variety, easy steps, and lots of smiles along the way.

Bought this for my 9 year old granddaughter who is just showing a real interest in baking/cooking. What a fabulous book it is. Her mother is quite cross with me as almost every recipe has been tried and she's not very good at clearing up after herself! We've had cup cakes galore, fairy cakes, Victoria sponge and with 3 brothers and sisters to feed they have all gone down very well. Clear and easy instructions. It's lovely to see her so busy in the kitchen and to be able to help her - every Nanny's dream!

My nine year old can make pretty much everything on her own. I just help her with the electric mixer and to put it in the oven. Really good recipes
