Seller is fine. Book is not.
This has more do with spies, sex, and specific not relevant to the plot elements and moments than anything about the WW3 story. This has NOTHING to do with End War, other than world setting. A unfortunate and mostly random way to get most of the previous brought up characters to be in the final arc permitted; a limp ending with little finality. If a book feels like work to get to the end; it was NOT worth effort.

Awesome!
While not as strong as the other two novels. It was a worthy addition and great way to end the trilogy. Loved the callbacks to other Clancy Novels.7/10

The Clancy Universe is coming together
The stories of Endwar, GhostRecon and Splinter Cell are complimentary. And this story is the continuation of The Hunted, in the Endwar series. Story arcs from the latest Splinter Cell are transitioning to Endwar as well. Unfortunately, the author isn't aware of the fact that Third Echelon no longer exists and is now Fourth Echelon...The book starts of with firing up the various story lines, that is a bit confusing, especially when you have to break up your reading session in the middle of the chapter. You're finding yourself flipping back pages to reiterate where you left off.But once the scene is set, the plot unfolds and you really start getting into the heads and lives of the characters. Characters you love to hate. The end of the book feels a bit like finishing up. As if there was a max number of pages that could be filled. As usually found in American action movies. Unlike The Hunted, where it wasn't clear if there would be a happy ending, The Missing is clearly all about showing off American dominance in the war arena. Which is too bad, as it hampers the Endwar universe to become truly emmersive.

In Clancy's Footsteps Another Good Read!
Peter Telep does an excellent job of following the genre of Tom Clancy's writing. It has been a while since I read the previous EndWar story. However, this story is rather unique with its opening chapters devoted to introducing each of the "missing" characters. How they are woven together is magical and leaves the reader guessing. About half way through the story when the plots come together, the story really opens up to a fascinating yarn. The ending is a bit unexpected, though not surprising given the evolution of the characters. Once the plots came together, I could not put it down. Good Read! What's next for the characters?

Nailed It!
Peter Telep nailed it! Just finished The Missing about 0200! Great book, more sensory stimulation than the last book. It was as if I was there and could see, hear, smell, taste and feel the events as you wrote. That is the kind of book I love to read.I love Technology but in the end it is about people and even though you hate the Snow Maiden through most of the book, she grows on you. This book goes beyond the headlines and gives scenarios of what could happen, when, where and why.Keep up the good work Peter! When I the next one coming out now that Tom Clancy has died?

Well written and definitely interesting however there is a very different tone from the rest of the series. I attribute this to the new author. Mostly new characters with a handful of old characters. Of course I can not give out spoilers though. Overall worth the buy but don't expect what we saw from the last two books.

Not bad
I actually thought it was a fun read. The only down side for me was some war related terms, gun names and such that I don't know or get. But the plot was engaging enough.

Not bad, but not good either
Maybe its because I tried a book in the middle of the series, but, even with the in-context explanations and background woven into the book, I just didn't get it!!!Writing is good, action is great, descriptions of everything great, but without the context of everything, you will get lost!.A nice diversion.

Not true Clancy
Telephone is definitely not Clancy. Reading is more separately segmented, descriptions less precise, technology more fragmented. Prefer original Clancy style.

disappointing read
This was a very disappointing Tom Clancy novel. There was too much star wars type equipment used Tom Clancy is much better when he sticks closer to reality
