Gorgeous mug, as is the black one, of one of the greatest and classiest, most intelligent, funny, charming, compassionate, revolutionary, transformational, elegant and inspiring presidencies, presidents and first ladies to walk the earth! What a beautiful and inspiring couple, an example beyond words. I bought these so that every day for the next four years as we sip our coffee, we can remember what it was like to have true class in the White House, and that yes, it IS possible; as we are going to need as much hope as we can get. The mugs themselves are a perfect, heavy but not too heavy weight, beautifully made and comfortable in the hand, wonderful and unique shape and handles. I docked one star because the images on ours aren't as vibrant, vivid, colorful and clear as in the product photos, and "The Obamas" insignia is very crookedly applied on the cream one, and the image is slightly crooked on the black one, which was somewhat disappointing. (Made in China.) Even so, they are still excellent quality, I adore them and they are my favorite new mugs; and are great collector's items, meant to be used, enjoyed and loved. I initially bought them as his & hers Christmas gifts, but I was too excited to wait and we have been enjoying them daily as we sip our fuel for the holiday season. We needed our Barack and Michelle inspiration NOW, to help get us through this crazy time! Who knew a coffee mug could do so much? :) African American Expressions is a wonderful company with unique and beautiful items. (And thanks for the lovely pen!) We will be back!
