They seem of very thin material, but do the job. Although my son's socks were a bit wet, so somehow the water found a way down the wellies. The waist is very slim, which is perfect for my son.

The item said all over it size 2 year old but when opened they were size 5-6 year olds so this item was packed wrong, but I will keep them for my other child who is 5 years old and order another pair for my 2 year old
