Kaleidoskop: Kultur, Literatur und Grammatik, 8th Edition

I was disappointed with the quality of this book. I paid $52 and received a book with stained edges and a section of pages is loose/falling out of the binding. I would deem this to be unacceptable but I guess other people would consider it okay.I cannot comment on the actual book contents. I begin using it for class in a few days.

Important book for someone trying to learn german. But very expensive. Also, it is not reasonable that kindle book had the same price as the print version.

Packaged excellently, but arrived about a week/two weeks late. Also, not my favorite edition of a German textbook. (Much preferred the organization of "Deutsch Heute" to "Kaleidoskop," but that may be a personal preference. I found the exercises redundant of the easiest examples of a grammatical concept, but not explanative of the full breath of the concept. And the size of the "dictionary" in the back of the book was disappointing to say the least.) Still, no fault of the seller except for an extended shipping time. No damage was done to the book--a lucky find for a used copy!

Based on having previous German language books, this one tops them all with clear and accurate material. I recommend this one for German language studies.

the book was advertised as 'new', as a 'new' book it is supposed to come with CDs and an access code, neither of which is included. this was not stated in the description of the book. this should be made very clear before i purchase a 'new' book. i am very disappointed with this purchase.

This book was not very helpful at all. The structure was fine but the grammar exercises were not clear which made it hard to understand. I had to use this for a class and this book was useless.

Perfect. as advertised! And mine brought the CD! :D
