McKnight's Physical Geography: A Landscape Appreciation (10th Edition)

Great educational read!

I love this textbook! I just wish it came sooner, but it is overall FABULOUS!!! It's just as easy to read and understand as the study guide and the book came in SUPERB condition! What really impressed me about this book is that it came with the unused laboratory code. The process of signing into the online geography program was very easy and FAST! The answers to the questions on the quizzes and tests are somewhat easy to find in the book and I would HIGHLY recommend this textbook to every college student in the world who is taking a geography course!!!

This is a jam packed book full of information and great diagrams and pictures to help understand the material. I wish I could give a better critique of the knowledge but I am starting out in a geography course and so it is all new to me. As far as book layout and organization the book is suiting my needs for the class. I understand the content in how it is explained and hope it assists me in taking something away from the course! As always textbooks are a bit on the pricey side! Wish it were a bit cheaper!

I ordered my book on may 14 and it arrived on may 20, I'm extremely pleased with the low price and fast delivery but the best part is the condition, I paid 18 dollars for a used book instead of 180 new and this one appears to be in better condition than a brand new one, in fact I intend to resell this and make a profit once I am done using it! this is the best online shopping experience ive ever had, w000t

If your interested in Physical Geography, this is an excellent book. Very well written and easy to follow. Intriguing subject if presented well. At the University of Illinois at Springfield, they required a lab book, which was written by the professor.

I rented this textbook from Amazon to a pass a geography class and I opened it like 3 times during the semester. I got an A in the class. Lecture classes brah :|The book was in fantastic condition though!

This particular book is a great book for my Biology book. It is the exact one I needed. While I knew it was a used book I was expecting the highlighting and wrinkled pages. I don't really mind the condition of the book, except for the fact that the book smells horribly like cigarette smoke(that's even before I open it). The smell is so bad when I open it I want to gag. I have resorted to reading outside so the smell is not so bad. Good thing its summer time! I try not to take my book to class because I am embarrassed with the smell. Like I said before I was expecting a used book just not a smelly one.

LAB PAGES MISSING! I ordered this book received in timely manner and appeared to be in good shape. However, once Class Started I had to utilize the lab. Turned to the first lab and the actual lab was missing. Looked thru rest of book and multiple labs missing throughout book. Would NOT recommend.

The content and the way it has been presented in the text is good for both students and teachers. Therefore I give 6 stars.However, the quality of banding is not very good.I hope publisher will take care of it.

This new edition McKnight's book depicts a comprehensive component of geographical phenomena as well as a lot of beauty diagram and also a minute diagnosis of concepts and views. But one problem happens when I use Pearson website who provide animated videos, quizzes and many more for this particular book, which mentione and authorise me to uses of website. But access code disappointed in this book.

You might think this book is very expensive. But it comes with high quality paper with high quality colour images and this is a pretty huge book.This book is exclusively made for Indian audience who are price sensitive. I'm just stunned at the quality. It's worth the money. In fact it is very cheap if you ask me.Will update on content quality after reading it

Beautiful illustrations.Neat explanations.soil chapter is very well covered.Infact biogeog is good in it.Climato part is very good.geomorpho as per civils need is not that elaborately covered.Oceano part is most neglected one.all in all a good buy.

Best book on physical geography hands down. It's very rare to find such good books which provide thorough conceptual clarity with such ease.
