MFH Type I Steel Shovel OD Green

I think this can be a really good product. I'm going to use the Martha Stewart mini shovel as a size comparison for this because I have it on hand (B07HFSDKFY).The shipping is direct from England so it takes some time. Packaging is bubble wrap in a bag. Overall I don't think that was bad. The tip did poke through the packaging (a suggestion on this would be to put a rubber tip over the tip of the shovel to protect it and keep that from happening).The overall build of the she shovel seems good.The weld points look like they have good penetration (I think in some spots there should be more than just tacks but we will see).Overall the shovel is a good size for a vehicle emergency shovel or a play beach/camping shovel.The head of the shovel is at an odd angle to the shaft. I'm not sure if this is intentional or if this was caused by shipping damage. I'm going to ask them about it.The paint won't last on the shovel head so we'll see if rust becomes a problem.This all seems critical but time will tell how well this shovel holds up.

Save your money and purchase a regular shovel, this shovel I just received and opened it. The shovel is all welded metal and appears to be good quality but it looks to be the size of a toy shovel NOT worth the money. I would NOT buy it again or recommend it. Just my too cents...!

I found this was excellent for edging lawns ,I am sure it will be useful in borders also.

Great for light digging. Bought to dig plug holes metal detecting. The main body and shovel is very sturdy and cuts into the ground well.The handle grip however is plastic and when trying to extract the shovel out of mud it flexes and bends, feels like it’ll pop out and it’s weak.

I was a bit amazed about the enormous packaging that was used for a fairly small spade. Was not necessary! A waste of too much cardboard!

la pala è corta ma abbastanza solida. Abbastanza perchè se si tenta di usarla per sradicare l'erbaccia più ostinata (una grossa phitolacca nel mio caso, con radice molto grande) o di sollevare pietre di modeste dimensioni sedimentate nel letto di un fiume, il tubo inizia a piegarsi irrimediabilmente, compromettendone la futura integrità. per il costo che ha me l'aspettavo molto più robusta, infatti credo che in acciaio abbia solo la pala vera e propria, che non ha fatto la minima piega di fronte ai suddetti ostacoli, nè si è arrugginita; al contrario del tubo.
