Really impressed! I don't walk a lot in snow and ice so didn't want to spend a big amount on spikes. These are fantastic value, easy to put on and very effective. They've just had their first test on a 10 mile snow and ice filled hill hike, didn't slip once and still good as new. Definitely recommend.

I haven't tried these in the snow yet. They are easy to put on and are snug. Compared to proper mountaineering crampons, the teeth are shorter but I think they would be fine for traversing snow at higher altitudes, and they are not too heavy and come with their own little zippered pouch. There is a black velcroed strap that I think is supposed to go across the top to secure them better but it may be that they are fine without it as well. I may get to use them in a couple of weeks, so I will try to update this review if I do.

These fit over my hiking boots fine, and thanks to the chains holding together the metal spikes on the soles they are secure and feel comfortable to walk on. They'll be really handy hiking in thick mud or snow in the winter, very comparable to others i've bought in the past at a higher price too.

Just used these on Ben Each (Southern Highlands, Scotland). The path was icy with hard packed snow and some thick snow. These little crampons were fantastic- kept really good grip without the awkwardness of full stiffer crampons. Also I could wear them with my flexible summer boots which means no need to buy winter boots. Easy to get on and they pack away small. I couldn’t work out how to use the Velcro strap- it’s too short for use as in the photo- but didn’t need it as the crampons stayed on fine. I was wearing large and am size 41 boots but they also fitted on my husbands size 43.

These Crampons are fabulous. I felt completely safe walking on ice, packed and loose snow but they handle patchy surfaces just as well, so if your neighbour has cleared some of the pavements it's OK because these crampons are all terrain.I also like the design having teeth the full length of the sole, some designs aren't as generous or as safe in my opinion.

After slipping repeatedly on my steep garden, these crampons have allowed me to move around safely to mow the grass etc. Easy to put on, comfortable, sturdy. I can also walk along slabs & steps from one level to another without having to remove them. No regrets.

I was impressed on the included zipped bag that these came in and it keeps them tidy and handy for when they are needed. They may not be the best quality for what they are and I am concerned about their durabillity with the plastic holes holding the chain, but you have to remember they are very affordable and you get what you pay for. So with this in mind I am happy with the purchase and the reassurance to know I have them, (especially with the snow and ice on the way), which is always a bonus.

These are perfect for a bit of snow and you want decent grip. If you're wanting to hike mountains etc, might not be good enough for that.However, I liked them and used then in about 6 inches of soft, fresh snow and was pretty solid in action.
