Worth the Years Long Wait
The first time I heard of this book was about 10 years or so ago, when my oldest (now 12) was still a toddler. I remember feeling very excited and highly anticipated the promised release of this amazing book! And a year passed... and another, and another. Still no book. AND FINALLY! The author managed to get these books released and while I'm not liking the price so much, the books were definitely worth the wait. For the most part.I have to say that Volume 1 is definitely my favorite, as there are a lot more cut and color pages for my kids to do, and they are really into that sort of stuff. The craft ideas and recipes are also lots of fun for them to do WITH me, which is also really great, it gives me a chance to actually teach my pagan faith to my kids in a way that they are able to understand and remember. My youngest (who is 5) is most fond of the paper altar tools. Now, my biggest complaint is that this book is really geared for I'd say 3-years old to maybe 9-years old children, as my younger 2 are really enjoying the books. My oldest likes the mazes and the word searches, but gets pretty bored with the other stuff, so it might have been more interesting for him if there had been more of those sorts of activities.Other than that, I honestly am thrilled I finally got these books! Like I said, I've been waiting ages for them, and plan to use them with my kids, my nieces and nephews and some of the other kids I babysit.

Nicely Done!
I especially appreciate the written permission to photocopy pages. Kids do mess up sometimes (don't we all?) and there is no reason for them to feel pressure to make it "perfect" like marking in a permanent book would do. Thanks so much! An excellent jumping off point to help parents and grandparents talk to kids in a fun and entertaining way about values common to all kinds of Pagans. I have made my own find-a-words and crosswords for Sabbats; it isn't as easy as it looks. I like the extra ideas! The artwork is beautiful, but easy for the kids to color. The projects are varied and fun, with variations for older and younger kids. I look forward to doing them myself, after all, I'm only 50; just a big kid myself.

Love
An excellent book to give you and your little one plenty pagan things to do together! My little is 2.5 years old so this book has some things we can do now and plenty to do later as she grasps more concepts. It is so full of fun ideas and things to do together!

This book is wonderful. I love nearly all the projects in it
This book is wonderful. I love nearly all the projects in it. The one critique I have is that it really does target young children, or girls for a majority of the projects. I actually purchased books 1 and 2 for my 8 year old son. He likes the crosswords and the mazes, but outside of that he has a hard time really getting into the coloring pages and other bits. They just don't interest him as much. I would love to see someone do some handbooks like this that include coloring pages and projects with older kids in mind, and maybe targeting boys with a focus on male energies and Deities.

A fun book for the kids, but needs more information
I bought this as a Yule gift for my daughter. There is a medium amount of info, lots of crafts, color sheets, games, and recipes. I just wish there was more information to read. I will be buying volume 2.

Perfect for Little Pagans
I waivered for a long time about getting this book. I am SO thrilled and happy I finally bought it. I should have gotten it earlier. I wish I had ordered volume 2 at the same time!

I am overjoyed to have found a pagan book that I can ...
I am overjoyed to have found a pagan book that I can use for my kids homeschool program, however, some of the activities where kind of repetitive, mobiles for the elements, and element boxes where a great idea but I was expecting something with more crafting ideas and teaching tools. Still a good workbook though.

A jumble of activities for the very bored child.
I was expecting a book with a bit of spiritual context followed by an activity to create connection to the goddess and some rituals to reinforce the bond.Change context, rinse, repeat. What this book is, is a jumble of trivia and travel puzzles that any child with a jot of imagination will rebel against. The text is painfully small and irrelevant too.Awful, awful book.

Fantastic book!
This book was a delight to read and some of the crafts are very useful. I have a Pagan daughter who has read this book and was very excited to be able to make her own altar. It has so many activities in it to keep her occupied and the other information on festivals etc is informative but not too in depth that it becomes boring. She loves this book and I would reccommend it to anyone with a young Pagan in their family.
