Consider plastic wands.
It was heavier than I expected. Some effort to put it back into its recoiled state, much more of a challenge than my plastic wand I have used in past years.

Does not collapsed to original state
It looks cool enough but once you open it it will not collapse again so it is worthless. I will be returning this
