Its good for what it is. I have it on a 1936 olivetti underwood and it works okay. My only issue is it bleeds a litte red while typing in black. Not bad. But not perfect.

We recently snagged a couple of classic (pre-1940's) typewriters to amuse our grandkids. These ribbons work as advertised. They do not produce the most crisp print but work great for banging on the keys.

I have an old 1912 Underwood Typewriter that I recently received as a gift. The old roll was of the same variety as these, but it had clearly been exposed to the air for a long time and was impractical to type with. I ordered this pack from a third-party seller and have been extremely satisfied with the results. Both the black and the red stripes work well and the type on my paper is easily visible. It is likely I will order this product again.

Works great with Underwood typewriters. Using on 3 bank portable, 4 bank portable, and a Desktop Underwood II .

These spools of ink are being used on reconditioned typewriters over 100 years old. I only wish that they could show me all the things that have been typed before I got my hands on these amazing machines.

Nice and dark--these are the best I've used so far. Fit me 1936 Underwood Champion Portable perfectly.
