My two youngest (3 and almost 5) absolutely love this craft kit. It comes with the supplies needed to make 3 different sets of heads and tails and the instructions are very easy to follow. The 4 year old (almost 5 now) was able to do it with almost no help at all. The 3 year old needed some assistance. The materials are decent quality and overall this is perfect for a rainy day (or when waiting for the power to come back on after a major hurricane).Just a note, the tails are the type you'd tuck into a pair of pants. My girls almost always wear dresses (especially when we have no power and the heat is horrible, sun dresses in a light material are a lifesaver) so we remedied this by belting their dresses and tucking the tails into the belts. It worked perfectly. So if you have a child who wears dresses more often than pants a belt will do the trick. Just make sure it's a wider belt style. Overall I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a "rainy day craft kit" to keep on hand or a gift for a younger child.

I typically like these Alex craft kits for my preschooler. This one was less favorite than usual.Pros: includes all you need to create the crafts. Things don’t need to be cut out so they just need assembly. It was easy for my kid to work on with only some assistance.Cons: since the items came folded, it was difficult for the stickers to stay stuck, and the glue wasn’t strong enough. Even if it was (I used gorilla glue for some parts), it pops off because of the glossy cardboard surface and the way the hats are bent. Ended up using a stapler to fix. That helped.

My three year old grandson loves animals and this was a hit. The hats and tails are cute, but I had to do the bulk of the assembly as expected. The glue provided is not strong enough and even using my own “extra strength” glue, the parts don’t always stay together where they’re folded. I ended up using staples, and they have held up well in play as a result.

My three year old loves this! If you're crafty, you can put this type of thing together by yourself. But if you want a project where all the stuff is already collected and ready to go, this works great. Basically there are three projects so my girl will do this three times. We did one today and will do the other two other times. It's not complicated and didn't take too long, but we watched some owl videos on youtube afterward. She is the cutest owl ever... :) It's something to keep her a bit busy while the rest of the kids do something that she isn't old enough to do. I like it and do suggest it.

Mine came with a glue stick without a cap that was completely dried out and unusable. I suggest having your own glue on hand. The test of the materials were disappointingly flimsy. Would not buy again.

Comes with 3 heads and tails (owl, bee and fox). Pieces are cut outs or stickers. Directions are pictures and easy for my 4 year old to follow. There is a little room left over for personalization. The heads are adjustable for size. The tails are a flap that tucks into their pants so will not work with a dress or onsie type jumpsuit. Comes with a large glue stick that is probably one of the best glue sticks I've used. Very cute and my kiddo is having a blast pretend playing after creating. Hardest part was waiting for the glue to dry.

My daughter is 5 and we used this one rainy afternoon. It includes an owl, a fox and a bee. You can make the hat and the tail, which she thought was hilarious.They're easy to put together by following the instructions, but let them be creative! She decorated them however she wanted to. Sure, it didn't look quite like the picture (especially the tails), but she had a blast and was using her creativity.The quality is pretty good, though this is a "one and done" kind of craft. Recommended for a rainy day!
