Works great

This is an inexpensive alternative to a similar light I owed for 25 years until it died. Not the highest quality but it works fine & has adjustable length or the cord as well as a reset switch if it goes out. Haven’t had to use tgg HD at yet but nice to know it’s there.

holds mt dvds but a little tight on space

I bought this for price to do work on the engine of my car. What I didn’t account for is trying to get into the small spaces of the engine compartment and the need for a much brighter light. A strong LED would work better. Even placing a LED in this fixture doesn’t come close to other LED garage lights that are available.

I needed a light for underneath my house. Light weight and works nicely.

I really was looking for a similar item that had a led light rather than a traditional one. It works fine and is what I need for the application, I just wanted a brighter and energy efficient setup.

For the price, this is a perfectly fine work light. I considered ones with heaver gage or longer wire, but I couldn't justify it. This will do what I want it to.One watchout that I didn't notice is that the circuit breaker reset is on the recoil unit, not on the light fixture. If it pops, I will need to get a ladder out to reach it in my garage. I have other lights where the breaker reset is on the light fixture, and I pop it once in a while if I try to run too much off the 110v plug.I like the natural plated steel / silver colored light cover. I have other brands with yellow painted or even yellow plastic covers, and they make the light color very yellow. The silver cover produces much nicer light. Also, get and LED light bulb to cut down on the heat (and electric bill).

Decent for the money.

Great value at ~$50. But everything about this light and power cable coiler feels plasticky, light and like it could fail at anytime.The reel's latching mechanism only works well with most of the cable pulled out. Otherwise it can be reluctant to latch and hold the cable at the length you want. Not the end of the world, just pull out a certain amount first.I hang this from the ceiling of my double garage between the cars, and it sees regular use throughout the year. And it hasn't failed me yet.

Can be difficult to retract the cord. I used the electrical outlet on the handle and blew my breaker twice. I tried an electrical outlet on another light we had that was similar (but older) and it worked fine.
