I'm happy the price was brought down from $20 to $14
I'm happy the price was brought down from $20 to $14! Awesome set! I love how the mask and weapons hint back to the original set from 2001. Though he only has one weapon, it can be split into two shovel-claw things, which is very cool. The gear function on Onua has a lot more friction than all the others, but I look at that as a pro. It may make the function harder to use, but over time, it will loosen up to be easier. In the case of the other 5 bionicles, the weaker function will still weaken over time, making it less effective. I have to say Onua is probably my second favorite, right next to Kopaka.

This is a big ol' boy!
Onua was an impluse buy off Amazon because they came back in stock for the normal $19.99 (do not pay more than that! Avoid scalpers) and all of my local stores have been sold out of him. He's gone from being my least favorite of the new redesigned group, to really growing on me.He is the widest of the bunch with his large shoulders, and is another figure with the duel action arm motion. Just like his first version. I just wish he had the claw hands like before. But there's a plus, his hammer can come apart (and store on his back) and function as shovels in both hands. That's a plus. The black, purple, and gold are also really nice.Onua has the highest piece count out of the 6, and will take you anywhere from 10-15 minutes to put together.

An expensive sell, but one for collectors.
I didn't get this set when it first came out in 2015. While seeing it lined up with the other 2015 sets is nice and overdue, I didn't like the asking price for this.

Let the earth quake before this Toa's power!
The Toa Master of Earth is without a doubt the widest and bulkiest of all six Toa Masters. As such, he has a lot of technical parts fit within him making it fun to put together if you enjoy using small parts when constructing technical action features. Most of the building for Onua will involve you using these smaller parts to fit in with the gear box action function which rotates both of his arms in opposite directions. However his action feature from my experience is very stiff, you'll have to give a few starting rotations of the gear function if you want to get the motions working, but this makes sense seeing as how 1. He holds a bulky weapon in one arm and 2. The friction extension to keep his bulky figure does mean that he will get a lot of stiffness from the ball joints holding the arms in place. And another side note, his large chest plate does come blank. If you enjoy taking parts for MOCs then this is very helpful, but the patterns for his chest do come on two sticker sheets for you to apply as needed. I very much recommend this set to people who like the BIG MUSCLE MEN or just enjoy the technical builds in general!

Easily one of my favorite BIONICLE figures of all time
Easily one of my favorite BIONICLE figures of all time. The purple, gold, and black color scheme blends together flawlessly and the overall shape of the figure sets him apart from the other sets in the line. His mask is very reminiscent of the original character's mask from 2001 and the gold variation included with the set adds to the value. This is well worth the $20. Although, be warned- the CCBS system used to make the figure is very different than the original BIONICLE line's construction, making a lot of the pieces incompatible.

Great Set. Not so great redesign.
$16 after tax is a really good deal for this set, especially since he was $20 before and probably $20+ with tax.Overall I'm not fond of Onua's redesign but he's my favorite Toa so I jumped on this deal. He's really bulky and kind of short but I still like him anyway. I already have Tahu and Kopaka, I'm getting them all at a steady pace.I was offered free 2-day shipping so I opted for that and it did indeed come 2 days after order. Great service. Great product. Can't wait to buy the other 3 Toa.Can't wait to buy

My little brother loved it! The fact that the hammer can turn into digging claws, and that this guy looks like some beastly armored dude is what caught his eye! The back has a rotating gear, that swings both arms.It comes with a gold mask and black mask, along with a small spider that is able to attach to the face of the Bionicle. Its really cool, taking control over the guy!

and gold color scheme looks great, especially on his legs and arms
This set masterfully weds the CCBS system from Hero Factory with the overall concept of the 2001 version of Onua. The redesign of his mask references his original Mask of Strength; his claw-like feet reference his original claw hands; and his broad-shouldered, bulky appearance references his original hunchback-esque appearance from his original incarnation. The black, purple, and gold color scheme looks great, especially on his legs and arms. If you were a fan of the character in the early 2000s, definitely pick this one up.
