Together with the bulk length Easy Heat cable you can custom fit the exact size for the application. The heat tape that goes with this controller is also wrapped in stainless steel keeping it completely durable and rodent proof. Excellent product that lasts for decades.

They are vital to keep our pipes from freezing.
We're in rural Alaska and we use these ends with our heat cables all the time. I have a bunch of rentals and we keep the water running during the winter by putting in heat cables. Each cable needs a connector.

Great for mobile home waterpipe insulation usage!
This EasyHeat 10802 Freeze Free Cable Connector kit worked great for our new mobile home water-pipes. I ran 75' of the EasyHeat wire on all exposed water-pipes beneath the mobile home. Held them in place with zip-ties, then wrapped the EasyHeat wire with fiberglass foil-backed insulation. Added these end cable connectors and plugged them into a thermostatically controlled outlet. I can sleep much better at night when it's below freezing that my water-pipes won't freeze up. Great product!

Cord too short and not waterproof. Otherwise excellent product.
Easy to hook-up and works well. Power indicator light is helpful to know the unit has power. My only complaint is the cord is too short. Yes, extension cords can be used but another 3' of cord would be nice. Be aware that the units are not waterproof and if they get wet, they will stop working.

Let there be water...(not ice)
Easy to use for setting up heat traces on my RV. I bought a 100' of the Easy Heat 2102 cable to go with it. No issues with wrapping and insulating my typical RV water line. Doesn't get too hot and that is a big reason why I went with lower wattage cable. It is pretty easy to cut the cable and attach this power supply. I used Knipex cutters but any decent cutter should work fine.I turn the Easy Heat system on and off with a Johnson Controls thermostat. Overkill but I then know it will last.

Good product poor xshipping
An excellent product however Amazon shipped it with no padding in a plastic shrink wrap package in a plain envelope. Hopefully it’s not cracked some bubble wrap would’ve been nice

Connection to heat tape made simple
This connector kit is solid built, and built to last! It is so easy to install your heat tape to,any child could do it, it is fool proof! The cord is extra heavy duty almost over kill and the body of the unit is not some flimsy cheap fall apart piece of junk you normally find associated with some store bought already attached thermostat controlled heat tapes. You will like this Easy Heat system over anything else on the market, period!
