Amazing quality for price
I was a die hard Shimano and VS fan and was hesitant to buy a product from a brand common sold at chain sporting goods stores. This Tsunami reel is amazing. I bought the EVT4000 and 5000 and couldn't be happier. Great drag and smooth as silk.

Smooth and easy spinning reel
Beautiful, smooth and great grip on the round ball handle. Easy to reel caught a nice 15” flounder using the reel. Love my Tsunami TSEVT Evict spinning reel.

Decent reel, plagued with QC issues
This reel is such a conundrum, it feels sturdy and is very smooth and the factory power handle is great. However, I've now gone through three of these that straight out of the box had QC issues. The first one had pieces that had fallen off of the rotor in shipping, almost like they were glued on and they simply fell off. It looked as if it had maybe fallen off before it was packaged and it was attempted to be glued back on, because there was an excess amount of glue on the back of it and smudging all over the reel that appeared to be from someone handling it with uncured super glue still on their hands. The second one, after stringing it up, started making a clicking noise that sounded like it was down within the reel. I removed the spool off the front to see if it was drag related, but even with the spool off, the noise continued and I didn't feel like disassembling deeper to find out what the issue was on a brand new reel. The third one had a ton of play in the spool that I thought was a bent shaft, but actually turned out to be missing a bushing from the factory. So overall I'm mixed on this. The suppliers have been great in sending replacements, so I don't fault them, but the one that I'm getting to replace this third one is the last one. If there's any issues after this, no more tsunami products for me.

Fantastic reel
This being my first reel from tsunami I am very impressed, I use this reel in the 4000 size slaying inshore species , used in almost exclusively saltwater and shows no sign of corrosion very pleased, and I’d say i enjoy it almost as much as my penn slammer 3 for the money spent

Product good shipping terrible
Product is good but bought it from Mighty Fish and their shipping was terrible. Said they ship in 1-2 days and they didn’t ship it till 6 days after my purchase date. Wouldn’t purchase anything for Mighty Fush again
