Edison Lamp Bulb Holder E27, Lalafancy Vintage Industrial Solid Retro Light Socket Pendant Ceramics Light Adaptor (Black, 6 Pack)

Nicely made and finely finished as an ornamental piece unlike the regular plastic variety. The brushed effect is perfect and the ring holders detailed. Can be desk lamp a pendant light or a fixed ceiling light. The pre-wired brown and blue wires are clamped to a fixed ring not a post with screws. The earth wire is loose for removal when not required. An unused terminal exists like the blue and red but any wire would need soldering to it if used. I do not know if meant for the earth if needed or what else. A connector to meet wires from the mains is therefore required. As a mere socket I am used to and would expect terminal posts with screws and a clamp to hold the cable, necessary for use as a pendant light, the fixed pre-wiring more usual on a fully complete light unit so a little more fiddly for a socket only but I've probably not seen all varieties.

This is a brushed brass finish, E27 bulb holder. Suitable for ceiling fitting, it comes with a plate that you mount, then this fits to plate and is held in place by the two thumbscrews.The light fitting is prewired, so all that is needed is to connect using screw terminals your live, neutral and earth.I used an antique style bulb to complete the look, but any E27 bulbs would fit.

Really nice quality light fitting. Bought for fitting in some lamps and they look really nice. Pre wired and pretty much ready to go. Very pleased with my purchase
