Hand Guns, Concealed Carry, Gun Laws, Other Concerns, and Things You Should Know: A Basic Companion for the Casual Handgun Owner and Concealed Handgun Carry License Holder

Good explanation of gun facts and detailed descriptions of actions, ammo, etc. A little heavy on chauvinistic gun culture commentary. But was more informative than other books I've looked at.

I'm assuming that the author lives in Arkansas as there was lots of info on the laws in that state but not much on other states.

This year alone (2013) I have had over 600 students and I have recommended this book to every one of them. I wouldn't do this if I wasn't 100% satisfied with Mr. Hammond Satterfield's book.

This book is a must for any person who wants to be knowledgeable about when, where, and how, to be safe and lawful, to carry concealed handguns. There is no other book published that is as concise and informational.I am a hangun instructor and I would not be without this book.

This is a good book, especially for new shooters/gun owners. It is very comprehensive and covers many things not taught in concealed carry classes. I recommend it.

Inciteful book for the handgun user. I appreciate the chapter "Letter to the Ladies," should bring ease for the woman with reservations on owning and operating a weapon.
