Packed full of action and thrills
I thought this book was absolutely thrilling and had many twists and turns that kept my eyes glued to the book throughout. As some of the other reviews mention this volume does not completely wrap up the story that started in volume 9 as the author promised at the end of that novel. It does close some parts of the plot but also opens some new interesting elements by the end of it.There are a decent amount of new characters but most of them serve some relative use to drive the story forward (Ganesha's kids introductions felt pointless but it made sense given the circumstances). This book switches perspective a lot (more than normal I would say) and takes you to many different places quickly but there's a lot going on so it's justified. My only real complaint is that Bell didn't really play much of a major role in the first half of the novel but he makes up for it in the second half.I've enjoyed this arc simply because this is the most impact Bell has had on the overarching development of the world he lives in rather than just his own personal development. He does a lot of personal development in this book as well and even redefines what being a hero means to him. If you've enjoyed the series so far I don't think this book will disappoint since it is one of the most thrilling and action-packed ones yet!

Wrong book for the physical version
Was on the vol 10 light novel kindle page and swapped to the paper copy and bought it without realizing that for some reason it went to the manga version automatically. I can't even purchase the paper copy of the light novel without it going to the manga instead... wasted my money

no real particulars) This was by far my favorite book in the series
SLIGHT SPOILER (regarding basic theme of book; no real particulars)This was by far my favorite book in the series. I have read all of the light novels and was thrilled to see the author delve into the realm of what it means to really be a hero, by first going into the traditional stereotype of a hero (in the first few books) and in the past two books is now addressing his vision of what a hero is by doing the noble action despite what people think of it. I was impressed with his ability to encapsulate this idea and look forward to the next installment.

Great book!
Loved and hated the way it ended. I wish it didn't end. Could've at least had Hestia do a status update because I'm pretty sure fighting Dix helped raise his status alot. The Epilogue was great and didn't leave me hanging too bad, I can't wait till the next book comes out! The author may be having trouble with it, but by reading the book, you wouldn't really know it. Keep up the good work!

Danmachi gets dark
I'll be honest. This was a really dark story, but it was a page turner. You wonder what will happen next. The Xenos were attacked, and Weine and Fei (harpy) were captured. The Xenos retaliate that eventually leads to their discovery by the other adventurers. Chaos ensues afterward.Spoilers (and personal thoughts):-This entire book is a setup for the next book (getting the Xenos back in the dungeon)-Bell being a scapegoat is necessary, since the hero's path is not always easy.-Welf leveled up and made new equipment (which do play a role later), but makes no mention of it. I thought it was hilarious that he gives horrible names to his equipment (Pyonkichi = Rabbit armor).

Tragic Kingdom
This volume gave some very good and emotional payoff. The stakes were high and I feel like there will be some lasting ramifications for some of the choices made. Great read.

Brisk pace and emotinal high lights allow this latest volume to keep me glued to my tablet
"Wow" followed by "Ugh" were the 2 most prominent emotions i was feeling when i put away this novel after finishing it.Following on directly from the events ending Vol. 9, I had a inkling of what to expect going into this volume but wasn't quite prepared enough for how the plot would eventually play out which kept me on the edge of my seat. For better or worse, due in large part to how said events played out, I found myself feeling more enthused to continue reading and found significantly less moments where I felt the urge to put the novel down due to less "dull" moments. This is in turn, kept me emotionally invested in the events playing out and even elicited tears at key moments which do not usually happen when I'm reading novels of this nature. With much higher stakes and a lot of perspective jumping around, you get a chance to see how events play out from different characters viewpoints, adding a multi-layed emotional weight that previous volumes touched upon but not going into any great depth. This was great in regards to allowing me to emphatise with the characters more and feel more invested to the events playing out, but on the flip side, once everything was said and done, feeling empty and drained as the volume came to a close.Unfortunately, there was a lack of showtime for some established characters with some only being given a few pages but i felt due to the events playing out and the strong focus on new characters, this wasn't as much of a issue as it could have been. You really get sense of why characters old and new behave the way they do and was pleased to find out there wasn't a moment when i was stratching my head wondering "why did they do that?" Even the main villian of the volume while undoubtedly evil in their actions, I felt I at least understood why they acted the way they did.In regards to the main character, I loved how the author chose to show Bell's mental conflict in such a way that allowed him to rationalise why he bahaved the way he did while staying true to his character. Although i have to admit this behaviour was quite stereo typical of a MC, i found the way the author set up, developed and chose to depict this internal conflict and call to action was well written enough to not allow too much of a break in immersion. I felt this volume set up a pivotal point where Bell will shed some of his "Innocence" and really start to become a Hero like he always wanted to be, without the doe eyed naviate of previous volumes. The writing and translation continue to be held to a high standard, with no discernible errors in grammar or spelling which helped ot keep the pace of the story moving at a brisk speed. All in all, a lot is covered in this novel, concluding quite a few loose ends started in volume 9. but also leaving enough questions open to explore in volume 11, although i'm frustrated by the lack of status updating and physical growth of Bell and how the Loki family's star heroine seems to always be able to solve any situation, I'm eagerly awaiting for what events are going to unfold next and would recommend, without any hesitation, this latest volume in the Danmachi series.

Danmachi finally gets serious
Danmachi has been breezy heroic fantasy mixed with cuddles and romance all this time. Bell has overcome everything but finally after 9 volumes the series lets loose - there are emotional highs and lows and Bell finally realised how powerless he is and what he has to sacrifice to be a hero. I ripped into volumes 9 and 10 and I can’t wait for the next. Danmachi has changed and I got one genuinely think it’s for the better.

What? Why!
This book... The feels... My gosh, I haven't felt this level of feels since Clannad and Your Lie in April! (There are others but for arguments sake) this book had me captivated diving deeper into the secrets of the Xenos creatures. But be warned. Prepare to cry.

Compelling plot development
This volume was great, it developed from start to finish, introducing new information of the world while making the progression of the plot compelling to read.

Meh.
It wasn't that easy to read as the plot was somewhat predictable. The volumes before 9 we're slightly better. Either way it isn't a bad read.
