The Everything Book of Dogs and Puppies (Everything About Pets)

I love DK books. This one was great-nice layout, awesome pictures, easy to read for my young kids. The back of the book is all about breeds. I wish there was more just about dogs in general and caring for a dog, but I was happy with the book. We were preparing for our first puppy and I wanted something my kids could read on their own and we would enjoy reading together. Informative and again awesome layout and pictures!

Very rugged book! My 17 months old daughter has put the book through it's paces and refers to it as the "dog book". The pages are very rugged and has held up through dozens of readings. Of course, this is a bit advanced in content for an infant, but she loves the big photos of dogs and I enjoy going through it with her. There's also a cat book made by the same publisher and we have that one too. Both are very popular in this house.

My kids want a dog, so I challenge them with learning about dogs and taking care of them. This was a fun book for them to use for research.

Cute pictures of babies and puppies enjoying the same activities. For granddaughter for Christmas.
