Hot Shot's SecretDDD Diesel Duo, 2qt STICTION Eliminator and 2qt Diesel Extreme

All I can say is wow!! This stuff really works well I have a DT466E and the injectors we’re starting to go. I was getting hard starts bad mileage and the motor just didn’t sound good at startup and really didn’t sound better until 30 minutes of it sitting at a fast idle but even then it still sounded bad. So I was doing some reading about what could be done to try and fix the injectors without replacing them and I came across Hotshot Lab and found there stiction eliminator and that it was made for international and ther HEUI system. Well I then did some reading of all the reports & reviews that I could find and I would say 90% of them were about how good the stuff works. So I decided to go ahead and give it a try and let me tell you I’m glad I did because that DT466E is a totally different motor in a good way it is quite now and starts right up with no problems I think it was worth every penny. If your thinking about getting this stuff get it because it really works.

Got this stuff because I was tired of the hardstarting cold issues of my 2005 6.0 F250 diesel. Its easy to do. Just drain 2qts of oil out through pan. Next, add the entire 64 oz Stiction eliminator bottle to the engine oil fill tube. The diesel extreme is for the fuel. Just use the recommended amount which I believe is 8 oz every 6 months. So far I can see a dramatic difference. My truck starts up quick and easy even in 19 F degree weather without stumbling and smoking like it used to do. It also seems to idle smoother and quieter. Time will tell if it gets even better. This double pack is the way to go as you get both treatments cheaper than by themselves.

I can't provide enough good comments on ALL Hot Shots Secret products. I use them in my Diesel, Gas, Trucks, Cars, Motorcycles, and mowers. In all vehicles I noticed and recorded an increase in fuel mileage. Vehicles run smoother and shift smoother. My cabinet and work bin in the truck always have a supply of Hot Shots products. Buy and enjoy. Well worth the price.

I just bought this combo pack for my new (used) 2015 F350 that I purchased. I did an oil change with Rotella T5 and added the 2 qts of Stiction Eliminator. It holds 13 quarts so I only needed 11 of the Rotella T5. I am planning on running it for 1500 miles and then doing another oil change with Rotella T6 and then adding FR3 to the oil.I added 12 oz of the Diesel Extreme to a 26 gal fill up. I will be adding EDT to every fill up afterwards and using Diesel Extreme every 6 months.I also purchased the TSE and added it to the transmission. It has helped greatly with shifting. It is now much smoother.As far as this combo pack, I can tell a huge difference. The engine cranks much faster and runs much quieter. It is smoother and seems to have more power. I am a believer in Hot Shot's Secret. They make some great products for your Diesel engines. 5 stars easy.

I was skeptical of anything like this helping out in my 2000 F250. But my 7.3 Diesel was getting roughly 10 mpg and the power felt low. I figured I would need injectors but went this route as a last hope before making that big expensive plunge. I did an oil change and added the fuel treatment to a fresh tank of gas on the same day, then went on a 500 mile trip to visit family. I drove the truck pretty hard so I could push the treatment through and it really seems to help. I clocked my mileage at 13.5-14 mpg this week. Much better than the 10 I was getting. I also installed a Hydra chip from Gearhead automotive performance, and that boosted my mileage up to 15mpg. The truck runs better than ever and I am very happy with this setup. Way better than dropping over $1,000 on new injectors!

I own the dreaded Powerstroke 6.0. I have used this product 3 times over the past 5 years, each time with great results. It did not improve my mileage, but it also did not lower it. It did not make my big diesel whisper quiet, but it did not make it louder. What it did all 3 times was make my truck that had become almost undriveable able to be driven again. It cleared up a lot of bucking, slow starting acceleration, and rough idling. I'm not suggesting this is a miracle product, but it has worked for me. My thought on the negative reviews is that they all say the product did nothing or "broke" something on their vehicle. Is it possible that their vehicle issue had nothing to do with this product? I mean, how many of us end up landing on this product "just because"? I would think that most of us end up here because our vehicles are not working correctly and we are looking for a fix that doesn't involve replacing injectors, seals, or rebuilding expensive engine components, right? So maybe their issues are already there and by the time they use this they are already past the point of failure and feel like the product did it? May not be the case, but seems odd to have the negative reviews mixed in with so may positive ones. Like I said, just a thought from someone who has been able to avoid more expensive options by using Hot Shotz.

I haven't done a review in years. Having said that I used both as prescribed by the manufacturer. My 7.3l was tired and averaging about 12mpg. I remember getting as much as 18mpg when it was newer. I just came back from a 250 mile each way trip. First fill got 15mpg and noticed the engine was running smoother and quieter. I was happy with that alone. Coming back I filled and had to do the calculation twice. 20mpg?! Yes it was true. Keep in mind I have a Banks exhaust and a superchip. I'm going to buy more and test it in my 7.3l bus.
