THE VINYL SINGLES [VINYL]

Second of five box sets. Not the most exciting, but there are some classics here. Nice to see the 'Ol rag blues' is the blue vinyl edition. Also the Dutch release of 'Jealousy' is included (as this was never released in the UK only Ireland).My only complaint is the record sleeves are such poor quality. They are made from cheap paper and leave dust and small paper pieces on the record. They are like cheap photo copies. For this price you would expect better.The quality of the actual records are very good. Nice and heavy and the sound is excellent.Comes with nice 7x7'' booklet and MP3 download code.

Pretty nice set. I enjoyed reading through the booklet and the sound quality is excellent. 'Ol' Rag Blues' was the first song I played and I immediately noticed how it sounded better than previous versions I had. Unfortunately the sleeves leave little paper dust bits all over the records, causing me to dust them off more that I regularly would have to. Another issue is that the song 'Backwater' on the 'Rock and Roll' single has a skip in it during the intro. This is probably just bad luck and only an issue with my set, but it's still worth mentioning. Thankfully I own this song in several other formats, most notably the 1974 'Quo' LP it originally came from. If it weren't for these issues, I'd give this set five stars.
